CHAINS OF ASMODEUS (Level 10 - 20) | Nine Hells Campaign

CHAINS OF ASMODEUS (Level 10 - 20) | Nine Hells Campaign

Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign

About the adventure

The Nine Hells, that eternal pit of misery and torment, has claimed someone you love. Warned by divine favor or by a hellish insider, you have been given an opportunity to take them back to the land of the living and claim your vengeance on those who put them there. It very well may be a suicide mission - not many leave the hell unshackled. The things we do for those we love. To make it out alive, you're going to need some luck, friends, and a lot of guts. Hack and slash your way through armies of devils, traverse each of the nine layers of the Hells as you seek out the souls of your loved ones, and perhaps even face off against an archdevil or two along the way. Inspired by the poetry of Dante and the mayhem of DOOM, Chains of Asmodeus is as heartfelt as it is bloody. But remember: the road to hell was paved with good intentions...

Tyson is very up front and careful to cover as much as possible from rules and regulations to standards of language and behavior and letting us know and discuss for ourselves what the boundaries are going to be. He is also a good storyteller.

If I could make the perfect DM it would be Ty. He is welcoming, friendly, unbelivably patient, crafts a beautiful world and takes the time to make sure all his individual players are involved. He can be light hearted and fun, somber and serious or just tell a cool story. Can't reccomend highly enough for players of any experience

Tyson is an incredible storyteller and (as a very new magic player) a patient and engaging guide into the world of DnD. Highly recommend!

I've had the honour of playing D&D with Tyson for years, and this new game has only highlighted how their skills as an improvisor, actor and writer have evolved over time. The NPCs all feel distinct and diverse, the stage is excellently set for our contingency of characters, and players are empowered to affect change in the story through their actions. The worldbuilding is also immaculate: Tyson has perfectly blended classic Greek myths with classic D&D tropes you expect to see in your game. All in all, a fantastic person to captain the ship of your gaming experience.

Tyson is perhaps one of the best DMs that I have encountered since I started on Start Playing. Not only are the welcoming to everyone, but they are super helpful for beginners. I and a group of friends wanted to start playing the Vecna campaign that came out and oh boy did they deliver! Wonderful voices, great music to match the occasion, and allows for creativity for the player. I could write an entire thesis on why Tyson is one of the best DMs but I am limited by my review word count! I do not regret one moment that I decided to go with Tyson. They are the ultimate person to run your campaign. If you have any doubt, don't!

INCREDIBLLEEEEE, single-handedly one of the most entertaining and impressive people I've ever had as a DM. The voices are incredible, the creativity feels limitless, and they single-handedly adapt to any situation to lead along and shape the story. The voice acting is shocking to how good they are and just how well they do it - and it just feels LIVELY. They are inclusive of everyone, and you can tell they make the effort to try and bring everyone in so no-one feels left out. Other than interactions, even the combat has no misses. It's challenging, and makes you /think/ about what you want and have to do.
