"Into" the Abyss: An Underdark Adventure

About the adventure
The Underdark has long been host to many unknowable terrors. Not least of which being those people who call it home. Over the last decade, many changes have swept the underground realm, for better or worse. Despite these recent sociopolitical upheavals, danger still lurks in the depths. The cult of Lolth still clings to life, desperate for power. Only the may have summoned more than they bargained for. Into the Abyss is a rework of the Out of the Abyss WotC 5e module. Participants will play as natives to the Underdark in the aftermath of a cultural revolution. If you seek to explore the Under realm beneath Torril, then you've found the right place! This adventure is suitable for players new and experienced, and could be especially fun for those seeking a new look into the Underdark.
This is an adventure for players looking for something not by-the-book. I'll be injecting a good bit of homebrew into this campaign. If you're looking for a new way to play OotA, or just a great story, I think you'll enjoy this game! :)

How to prepare
You'll need a working mic, Discord, and have Roll20 ready for use. We have a discord group for you to join where the game's voice chat will be held
What I provide
I will provide a friendly environment, along with a VTT setup with detailed maps, tokens, and a curated playlist of thematic music. Also some funny voices~ Combat will be intense and engaging. The roleplay and character development will be as deep as a WotC module can allow
Gameplay details
I provide green, yellow, and red cards on roll20's ttrpg. I also have all players fill out an RPG consent form before game start. The first session will also be a session zero, during which we discuss game expectations, potential triggering content, and character set ups.

How will character creation work
Character creation can be done before the game and will be finalized at session zero. Starting level is one, and we use point buy for stat allocation. All official classes and subclasses will be available. Note that this is an Underdark heavy game and I'd like all player characters to be Underdark races (Drow, Duergar, Orogs, Svirfneblin, etc) Character sheets will be available on roll20, but sheets made on D&D Beyond are also usable.
