Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
Enjoy this well crafted, story-driven campaign, brought to life by an award winning Gamemaster who grew up on Dragonlance novels and AD&D adventures. This will be an ongoing epic campaign with heavy focus on story, background and lore set within the storied world of Kyrnn. Expect dizzying heroic highs and heart breaking lows as we spin a world spanning tale of heroism, magic and faith in the war torn Solamnic countryside. Dragons and Knights, wizards and priest abound in this tale of classic Dungeons and Dragons fantasy.
Game style
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.

Scott is a talented actor and storyteller. He crafts deep, intricate worlds and is an amazing storyteller. He is also very good at welcoming players, new and old into his games and has experience in quickly adding them to the story. His games contain both action and story with a strong sense of pacing.
Just the other day at Scott's table another player explained his experience with Scott as a DM perfectly. "It's like Scott is still a 14-year-old who just discovered D&D for the first time, every time he steps up to the table he brings the same joy and spark to each session." I have been playing with Scott for over a year at our local game store and he is a force of nature who loves to get involved in the development of the setting, players, and the connections between players stories. Scott has a wide range of talents which you will experience during your sessions. I'm not one for spoilers so I'll leave at this... go out there and have fun with this amazing crafter of tales! I wish Scott all the best in his new adventures! Shine on!
Ive been playing regularly with scott for around 7 months now. If i could sum it up, if you never have played dnd before, but have an idea of what you think a dm is supposed to be, its Scott, he has that genuine first time excitement i imagine a teenager would have discovering dnd for the first time in the 70s, but 40 years of experience sprinkled on top. He is also one of the few story tellers i draw inspiration from when i run my own games or play in other games.
I have been playing for 30+ years, and without question Scott is the best Dm I have ever played with. Fantastic story teller, out of this world imagination, next level voice acting! He is very inclusive, and exceptional with both veteran and first timers. Very good at reading the room, and his passion is second to none. If I could have selected all ten boxes I would have. 10/10… If you are lucky enough to be in his Campaign, you will see what I mean!
Scott runs an solid campaign. He knows his stuff and brings a great deal of creativity and personality to the game. I started playing D&D over 40 years ago. After a long break I resumed playing in 2022 at Scott's table. Puts the DMs I used to play with to shame. Experienced and rookie players will find a lot of fun with him. I'm looking forward to our next session.

How to prepare
Players will need a good internet connection and a mic and keyboard. Webcam play is preffered but not required. Character creation will ideally be done during a session zero with all players involved.
What I provide
Besides the obvious VTT and D&D Beyond assets which I will list below, I bring to the table 45 years of experience running D&D games through most editions, and a passion for the game that I am told is rarely matched. I believe my reviews speak volumes. I am an experienced actor that cut my teeth in the haunted house industry, I have taken numerous improv courses, and I am an accomplished voice actor. I have attended D&D in a Castle 3 times, twice as a player and once as a professional NPC! I have played with D&D names like Mark Meer, B Dave Walters, Mike Tinney, Beth the Bard, and Jason Charles Miller.
