About the adventure
Few have ever encountered the Ordo Chronos, even among the highest echelons of the Inquisition, and even fewer grasp the true nature of its purpose. The erratic nature of Warp travel has led to instances where a ship finds itself stranded in the Warp. When it finally breaks free from the Immaterium, the crew may have experienced only a handful of solar months, while in the material realm, centuries could have slipped by. Even rarer are the occurrences when a vessel is caught in a Warp phenomenon, resulting in its ejection from Warpspace at a time prior to its departure. It is believed that the Ordo Chronos was formed to address the temporal anomalies that could arise from such events. The Inquisitors of this Ordo were deeply concerned that if these void travelers emerged in the past, they could inadvertently alter the course of history, jeopardizing the fate of Mankind and the Emperor's grand design. Over the centuries, the Ordo Chronos delved into these occurrences, initially focusing on Warp-related phenomena, but eventually broadening their scope to include other temporal disturbances, possibly even those of a more intentional nature. Then, without warning, the entire Ordo Chronos vanished. The exact number of its members remains a mystery, but in an instant, every Inquisitor associated with the Ordo either disappeared or went into hiding. No living soul knew the reasons behind their disappearance, nor if their members might one day resurface. The Ordo Chronos became a legend, a mere whisper among those few who were aware of its existence. As the 42nd Millennium dawned, the Ordo Chronos resurfaced, but it felt as if their long absence had slipped from the collective memory of the galaxy. It was as if they had never vanished in the first place. What transpired during their silence? What secrets lie buried in the shadows? As newly appointed agents serving an Inquisitor of the Ordo, you might uncover the answers—if you survive the revelations…
