The coldness of space, the inevitability of crashing asteroids, and forces on an unfathomable scale are just only some of the dangers that the meagre and ephemeral twinkles of human life must survive. Out there, buried by cosmic forces, lurking in the interstitial blackness between stars, and beyond human ken linger things that refuse to be explored, to be exploited, and elucidated. So many ships, so many colonies, and thousands of lives wink out in the blackness of the cosmos with not even a whimper in the deafening silence. You play the part of a falible human trying to make a living in a terrifying and uncaring cosmos alongside their fellow crewmembers. It is cinematic and action-packed where every decision matters and can make the difference between survival or further catastrophe.
