About me
Hello there players! My name is Miguel and I've been a GM for eight years. Since I was a kid I've always loved being creative and submerging myself in vast worlds, stories and characters. The act of sharing this passion of mine with players and seeing the process of them creating their characters and leaving their mark on the world is always exciting. I have a degree in History with a master's in ancient religions and Mediterranean civilizations and I'm in love with making believable worlds and using ancient legends or obscured tales to inspire my campaigns and make everyone learn a little bit more about different cultures. I have a lot of experience with DND 5e although I can also run other systems like VTM. My first priority is to make my games a safe space for everyone involved, of course they are LGBT friendly and I won't tolerate any kind of hate speech or disrespect at my table against me or my players. I try to be fun and accessible, so players who are starting in TTRPGS are welcome and encouraged to ask all the questions that they want even outside of game time. I love suggestions and creative ideas from my players and I tend to transform my campaigns around their plans and character arcs. Hope to roll some virtual dice with you in the future!
View Profile βCharacter creation
Creating your character
The campaign is going to be from levels 1 to 20 using the new character creation rules in the new PHB and I will help you create the concept during session 0 along with the different relations with the rest of the party. Things to take into account: -Where going to use Roll20 character sheets. -Point-Buy characters. -All the oficial races, classes, subclasses and backgrounds are allowed -Multiclassing is allowed, rebuilding your character if you are not having fun with him is also always on the table (It's easy to find in game explanations) -Special boons and situations could happen due to story reasons, expect to (sometimes) have a greater power-level than characters from your level.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
-A Discord Account (That's where we are going to talk) -A Roll20 Account (That's the VTT where the session is going to take place) -A PC or laptop -Headphones and a microphone - A stable Internet Connection (It's also recommended that you put a webcam on, it can help on role-play and character interactions but it's not mandatory at all)
What MiguelTheWarlock brings to the table
I'll bring a premium subscription to Roll20 so we can enjoy dynamic lightning, maps and handouts from the original module, a subscription to D&DBeyond for character building, epic and tense music to give truly adventuring vibes to the campaign and some bought or customized maps to bring more freedom outside of the original module to our games.

How MiguelTheWarlock creates a safe table
At the start of every session, we will do a quick recap outside of normal game time to recap the events that happened in the last session. The module will always be played in roll20 with images and maps of the scenery around the characters (descriptions won't be too long and I will enhance the experience with different handouts, my priority is putting you inside the scene with pictures without taking up your time to play). Expect combat once every session or every 2 sessions more or less. The adventure will also have scenes outside DnD mechanics where you'll narrate how your characters escape or fight certain situations based on their skills, equipment or spells ( like big scale battles or chases) where your ideas and creativity are going to matter. I'll have private interviews with all the players to help them create a character for the campaign and explain all the details of the campaign in private and a session 0 with the whole group to reach a common ground on expectations and character relations. A session will usually be 3 hours long, but I'll always try to leave the game in designated moments (at the end of a certain scene or after a well-earned victory, for example) so it can go up more, depending on the context. A five minute break will always happen at the middle of a session for grabbing snacks or bio-breaks. At the end of the session I will give inspiration to everyone and you'll have time to make criticism and tell me your opinion and the things you would change about the game
