About the adventure
Barovia is a land trapped in mist, ruled by the cruel vampire lord, Strahd von Zarovich. As you step into this realm, you quickly realize there’s no easy way out. The villagers speak of an ancient curse and a dark prophecy that holds the key to breaking Strahd’s power. Your journey will take you through haunted forests, cursed villages, and the looming presence of Castle Ravenloft. You will face terrifying creatures, uncover dark secrets, and decide who to trust in a land where hope is scarce. Strahd is always watching, and he plays a deadly game where your every move could lead to salvation or doom. Will you break the curse that binds Barovia, or become yet another lost soul in Strahd’s domain?

Creating your character
Everyone will create their characters during session 0. I usually use the standard array for stats but if the players all agree that hey prefer to roll stats I sometimes allow it. characters will be level 1 and have access to almost all official content to create thier characters.

How DM Fred creates a safe table
In session 0 I go over individually everyone's concerns and see whether I need to implement additional services for everyone. I provide on screen visual X,N, & O's. After every games i discuss with everyone and see what they like about the session and maybe some things they didn't like about the session so I can alter them going forward.
