About the adventure
This one-shot of The Expanse RPG takes place on the asteroid of Eros during "The Eros Incident", a significant event from The Expanse novels by James S.A. Corey, and will contain spoilers for both the books and the TV show. Escape from Eros is a blend of cosmic horror, survival, and a little bit of a hunted house story. You and a ragtag crew of strangers will have to come together to survive and escape an otherworldly attack on one of the most populace stations in The Belt. Knowledge of The Expanse series and its lore is preferred, but not needed. I will give a breakdown of anything you need to know prior to character creation. I will provide blank character sheets, and player tools, as well as walk players through character creation in a fast-tracked "session 0". This one-shot is designed as a tutorial for The Expanse RPG and will not require familiarity with the system.

How to prepare
You should have the following: - A Discord account. - A Webcam - Access to a Google Drive (so that you can access the Player Tool document). - A browser, should we use Owlbear Rodeo.

Gameplay details
During a Mini-Session 0, we will discuss Lines and Veils as well as character creation. The content of this one shot can get intense, but that can exist on a dial. Should players not be comfortable with certain elements of the story, I can and will dial that aspect back.

How will character creation work
Characters will all be Level 1, and we will walk through character creation before the start of the game, during a short Mini-Session 0. If you have The Expanse RPG book, feel free to make a character in advance, but it won't be necessary, as I will walk us through that process.
