About the adventure
A mysterious benefactor has invited your party of all-rogues to a private island for a competition to show your rogue prowess over two other all-rogue parties. All is well, and the competition is good natured, until your host is discovered murdered in his sealed panic room. His murderer has sabotaged all ways off the island, and left a riddle to find help you find your way off the island. Accusations fly, trusts are broken, and your party is just as likely to hold the culprit as the others. Will you be able to discover the truth of your host's history? I’ve had the pleasure of playing in several campaigns and many one-shots run by Evie and each one has been an unforgettable experience. Her creativity and storytelling are unmatched, bringing every world to life with vivid details, engaging plotlines, and memorable characters. No matter the scenario, she always has a brilliant twist or an unexpected idea that keeps us on the edge of our seats. Her talent for creating diverse voices and personalities for NPCs makes each interaction feel unique and immersive. One moment she’s a grizzled pirate captain with a laugh that shakes the room, and the next, a soft-spoken mystic whispering secrets only we can hear. It’s a joy to watch her breathe life into the world, adding layers of depth and emotion to every encounter. She’s also a master of the “rule of cool.” If a player suggests something off the wall or spectacularly risky, she’s all for it, finding ways to make those cinematic moments shine. This emphasis on making sure the story and characters come first has led to some of the most epic and satisfying moments I’ve ever had at a gaming table. But beyond her incredible DM skills, Evie has become more than just a storyteller, she’s become a true friend. Her welcoming nature and passion for the game have created a community that feels like home. I’ve made some amazing friends through her server, and it’s all thanks to the positive and inclusive environment she fosters. Each session is more than just playing D&D it’s connecting with people who genuinely care about each other. If you’re looking for a Dungeon Master who brings unparalleled creativity, excitement, and friendship to the table, Evie is absolutely the best. Every session with her is a new adventure, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it!
Evie is an incredible DM who has a seat for every type of player at her table. Currently running in a weekly campaign where the table takes a bit of a serious tone in terms of mechanics, providing all of the depth you want in week-to-week sessions. I've also ran a one shot with Evie that took a completely different approach, offering a much more light-hearted and casual experience. Overall, sessions at the table tend to be combat and mechanics forward, though there is plenty of room for roleplay as well. Evie shines in managing the complexity and layers of combat, and offers an incredible depth of game knowledge. Her expertise in smoothing even the crunchiest math and mechanics makes the experience fun for beginners, and incredibly rewarding for veterans. I've watched players cast their very first fireball ever along side players stringing together multiple complex legendary item effects - with both players feeling on equal footing with each other.
