About the adventure
Deep beneath the surface of the world lies the Underdark, a realm of endless labyrinthine tunnels and caverns where the sun never shines. The Underdark is filled with races and creatures too numerous to count or list, and foremost among these are the dark elves—the drow. Hated and feared even by their fellow dwellers in darkness, the drow raid other settlements in the Underdark as well as the surface world, taking prisoners back with them. Rendered unconscious with drow poison, then collared and shackled, these prisoners are eventually sold as slaves or entertainment in the dark elves' subterranean cities. You have all had the misfortune of falling to such a fate. Captured by the drow, you are prisoners at one of the dark elves' outposts, awaiting transportation to Menzoberranzan, the City of Spiders. Whether you came into the Underdark seeking knowledge or fortune, or were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, you were ripe prey for a drow raid. 🕸️The campaign runs from level 1 to level 15. 🕸️The campaign will follow be run using the updated 2024 Players Handbook Rules. 🕸️Homebrew additions to the campaign such as monsters, magical items and fresh NPC's will add new exiting elements for you to explore and experience. 🕸️A curated playlist, sound effects and music that matches the ambiance to enhance every session. Join now! Can't wait to meet you and start telling a wonderfully horrific story alongside you.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hi there! My name is Ina, and I have been a Dungeon Master for over seven years. I have run multiple one-shots and a long-term Neverwinter campaign for three years with my close friends. Currently, I am running several modules on StartPlaying, including Curse of Strahd, Out of the Abyss, and a campaign in the popular setting of Exandria. I enjoy adding my personal touch to existing modules and creating homebrew items and spells for my players. I am a big fan of Critical Role and Dimension 20, and I aspire to bring that same joy and excitement to my games. My goal is to share the beautiful world of Dungeons and Dragons with as many adventurers as possible while making a living from something I love and take great joy and pride in. If that sounds like something you would enjoy, join me on an adventure!

Creating your character
Characters creation will happen before our first session. I will run a session 0 with the players to make sure everyone is comfortable, answer any outstanding questions and ensure that everyone has their character ready with backstories concluded before session 1. 🕸️For your Ability Scores we use Point Buy system or Standard Array. 🕸️You have access to all classes, subclasses, races, feats, backgrounds and spells in the 2024 Players Handbook published by WotC. The 2024 Players Handbook is backwards compatible. If you wish to play one of the 2014 subclasses please follow the backwards compatibility guidelines and work alongside your DM. 🕸️Other materials are not permissible. If you would like to use character options from homebrew materials please consult with the DM beforehand. 🕸️Once you have created your character, including the backstory, I will review it and we will have one on one calls that will last anywhere between 15 – 30 min in order to incorporate your characters to the world ,make any necessary amendments and iron out any final details before session 0.
We will resume the campaign once we have a minimum of 5 active players. We will be using the new 2024 Players Handbook which will be shared with all of you on D&D Beyond. I will help you with character creation and to clarify any questions you may have before your first session with us. The party is currently at level 7 and consists of : a Life Domain Cleric, Path of the Worldtree Barbarian and a College of Glamour Bard. Finding themselves in Blingdenstone they provide aid to the deep gnome community and serve not only as a bridge between them and the Goldwhisker clan but as a sword for hire against the oozes that seem to have taken residence in the Rockblight.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a D&D Beyond account, a Discord Account, Beyond20 extension installed and a Roll20 account. A decent mic, headset and computer are also required.
What Ina brings to the table
As a DM I will be sharing the link of the campaign on D&D Beyond providing access to all the content and materials needed to create and play your characters. Roll20 an accessible VTT with dynamic lighting and useful tools for both players and DM.
Homebrew rules
🕸️ Death Saving throws happen privately. 🕸️ Helping and providing an advantage towards a skill check for another pc requires you to have proficiency in the relevant skill. 🕸️ Skill and Ability check failures: After each failure, each additional attempt increases the DC for that skill check.

How Ina creates a safe table
A typical session will involve everyone logging into D&D Beyond(the link to the campaign will be shared with you after joining the game), joining discord and joining the Roll20 campaign(the link to the campaign will be sent out before session 0). After everyone is situated and ready to go then we will jump right into the game. Rolls will be made through D&D Beyond and will be sent to Roll20 thanks to the Beyond20 Addon. The game itself will have a balanced mix of combat, roleplay and exploration. Battle maps and artwork will be provided alongside narration. Please keep in mind that character death is possible, especially at early levels. As adventurers you may face encounters that range from very easy to extremely deadly. Remember that running is always a choice, and sometimes the wisest choice depending on the situation. Fudging dice rolls is out of questions because I believe it affects not only the integrity of the game but also suspension of disbelief and player agency. I require everyone to be on time and ready for the session and expect them to stay for the entirety unless an emergency arises. If you need to miss a session please let me know ahead of time so I can make the necessary preparations. I expect people to stay in character as much as possible and I do not tolerate metagaming. You can expect to have a 15-minute break around the 2 hour mark for grabbing snacks, drinks, and bathroom breaks.
