About the adventure
THE WORLD THAT YOU KNOW Earth was scorched by solar flares that turned it into an endless desert filled with radiation, sandstorms, and genetically modified or mutated creatures. What water wasn’t lost to the void receded deep into the ground. Most of the water and food you consume is recycled or comes from the great desert worms that are hunted in the deep wastes. The largest of which are over a hundred meters in length. Pure water and food fetches a premium. The world has become nocturnal. Doing anything during the day is death. Unless you have a cooling suit, corporate tech, or high endurance. Let's also hope you can see in the dark. Corporations control most of the wastelands settlements. Waging war with each other using augmented agents and battle mechs that stand ten meters tall. The more sessions you play the more your story will grow. You are a merc free to choose your own path in this world. Be it fighting raiders, punks, Shadow Hounds, or corporate troopers. Exploring settlements, bunkers, airships or mega cities. Or perhaps you want to uncover artifacts, search for Desert Bloom or lightning glass. With the right connections you can augment yourself and use restricted tier munitions. The world is literally yours. But whatever you do don't roll a one. 2096 is a d12 system.
On the bridge in front of you that connects the East and the West are five. On their knees, bound and on the edge. Five you all know, five part of the resistance. Behind them those not to be trifled with. Above the bridge on a balcony on the East side a woman appears. The magistrate. She stands for a moment before she nods her head. One by one the resistance members are kicked and disappear into the Chasm, falling into a bottomless void. The magistrates voice echoes. “Let this be a lesson to anyone who challenges the will of the magistrate! We exist because of my compassion. Without me we would all fall to the depths! Without the water, food, or power we provide you would all die. So love your magistrate! Love the East side! Love Chasm city!” At that everyone gets on their knees, reaches towards the slit of sky above and starts to hum. As you do as well. Since you know what happens when you rebel, you know what happens when you steal, you know what happens when you stand out. What you saw was the Falling. What you see is Chasm city. And what you feel is a burning hatred for the East side. Especially, for the magistrate. Also another book...

What I provide
I use R20 for maps, tokens etc. I also have offline assets and past sessions can be watched on YouTube.
Gameplay details
Although 2096 is a world filled with sex there is a fade to black with these scenarios. There is no erotic RP. Session 0 will be getting to know each other, going over character creation and basic rule sets for the session. Sessions are typically recorded, (voice only) but it is up to the group. I use reactive images so character pics must be high quality and not copyright. I do not accept sketches. A.I. is the best unless you own high quality work. I will color wash and set up tokens.

How will character creation work
Character creation will happen during session one, all character's will start at level 1. I will share the 2096 Player Pack before hand to give you an idea of the system and a first look.
