About the adventure
Evil is lurking in the beloved town of Phandalin, and you are the only one who can stop it! Starting at level one, you will solve mysteries and stamp out the growing corruption uncovering more about the malevolent cult that are plaguing this classic town. As darkness swirls and evil powers continue to grow, it will come down to your choices as to how the world will turn out. About me
Hello adventurers! My name's Jacob and I've been running TTRPGs for over a decade with three years of experience full time GM-ing. With a long background in theatre as well as a former designer of escape rooms, I bring a wealth of experience to every game I run. My focus is on making a fun and satisfying story regardless of player history with the game. No matter whether your characters are trekking through a mountain pass, exploring the furthest reaches of space or even attending a spooky summer camp, you should be experiencing a well crafted adventure you will never forget! I also bring an attentive eye to representation within the game space. As a former organizer and field director for numerous political campaigns, I have fought for this first hand and will not let it go unnoticed in my games. There is a wide spectrum of games I have played and run varying from DND (5e and 3.5), Pathfinder (1e and 2e), Doctor Who, Kids on Bikes, Honey Heist, Mutants and Masterminds, Call of Cthulhu, Wet Hot American Summer, Everything Is Dolphins, Fallout RPG and much, much more. Creating your character
We will be starting with level one characters that will be made as part of the Session Zero. I would recommend preparing a few character concepts beforehand so we can make sure every player can be perfectly tied into the world and team.
Just finished the first half and will be diving in to The Obelisk, where you uncover the truth of what is going on deep underground and far beyond. You will be joining at level five!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
The game will be done with Discord and Owlbear Rodeo. As such, you will need a functioning internet connection and microphone/headset device. I would highly recommend as well a dedicated device for the game, either phone or computer. You may roll digitally or physically.
What Jacob Cordas brings to the table
I will bring a fully fleshed out adventure that will respond dynamically to your choices in this iconic setting for 5e. Moreover, this will all be done in a uniquely built discord for the game that will serve as hub for all of your note keeping and player choices. You will get to live your dream version of this campaign!

How Jacob Cordas creates a safe table
This will be an epic campaign that leans into all my favorite parts of Dungeons and Dragons. To make we are able to embrace that atmosphere, safety is of the utmost importance. We will begin with a Session Zero that will include filling out the Monte Cook RPG Consent Check list. During play we will use a variant of X, N, and O Cards called Yellow/Red Cards as well as an Open Door Policy. We will also have a regularly scheduled Break.
