About the adventure
In the Kingdom of Espiar, Ekurian Serra now reigns as the King of the people, known for his generosity, his acumen on the battlefield and for his wits and charisma. Although he is the rightful heir to his father, the circumstances that led to his succession to the throne are ones shrouded in mystery and preceded by an unspoken tragedy. Recently, an enigmatic note appeared on the bulletin board at the Capital City that threatens the integrity of the people's beloved King, which will lead to a series of events that will see you as the protagonists. Judgement for the Forsaken Princess is a short (3 to 8 sessions) story focused on roleplay, investigation and intrigue, that will set you on a path to search for clues, investigating various figures and places all in the hopes of uncovering the dark past that lead to the coronation of the current king of Espiar, while leading you to find closure for a decade long mystery. And finally, I intend on running this campaign as LGBT+ friendly and as welcoming for new players as possible! You are all welcome to join!

“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.

How to prepare
Discord is necessary to play. You don't need a webcam as we will look mostly at our sheets and the various maps, but a clear, working microphone is well appreciated. If you want to host your character on DnDBeyond, an account is required. Recommended for beginners! To play on Owlbear Rodeo, you will need an account on their website. Discord, DnDBeyond and Owlbear Rodeo are all free of cost!
What I provide
In this campaign we'll be using Czepeku maps and you'll have access to a library of over 100+, high quality homebrew options personally written by me! Finally, as a wannabe voice actor, I'll personally be having a blast making every character you encounter unique through their voice as well. We'll be having a good story, good music, good maps, challenging encounters tailored specifically for you and your characters, and all around a good time! The game is gonna be played over Discord, we will be using Owlbear Rodeo for the VTT.
Gameplay details
I'm planning on handing out the Monte Cook Consent List over Discord a few days before the campaign to adjust. We'll also be holding a session 0 in order to discuss the setting, expectation and everything in between, and to create (or integrate) the characters together.

How will character creation work
Character Creation will occur during Session 0, where we will roll for stats, brainstorm ideas for the characters and how they tie to the story and with each other! Any official material is fine, homebrew is fine but I'd like to first see the source material so I can properly prepare encounters and whatnot. You can have your character sheet anywhere you'd like, but DnD beyond is preferred as we will also be using the Discord bot alongside. Stats will be rolled together with everyone else, however as a house rule you don't need to worry about bad stats, as you can reroll if you get a BST too low. ^^ If you have a pre-made character you want to play, we will work it together into the story. If needed, I will have ready a couple of character sheets ready to use!
