About the adventure

In the icy northernlands, artic mice struggle to survive. It is autumn and everyone must prepare for a bitter winter... only trouble stirs. Rumors of foul behemoths with their eyes locked on the dwindling food stores spread. You are one of the chosen to investigate these rumors. Discover what lengths a mouse will go to in order to survive and stand against threats to themself and the community. This adventure is meant for players newer to the system with some familiarity with tabletop roleplaying games. Though designed as a one-shot, if any so desire, I will be happy to continue GMing the adventure with your characters.

About me

I've been in and out of tabletop role-playing games for about five years. I have the most experience in Dungeons and Dragons 5e, but more recently have tried to explore pbta games from Magpie Games.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will roll characters before gameplay begins in the first session.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a mic and access to the rules. I can explain any misunderstandings, but would prefer that you read the rules beforehand. You will not need to create a character ahead of time.

What Volarcanis brings to the table

We will be using Owlbear Rodeo. I like doing character voices and will do a looser interpretation of rules outside of combat but may stick closer to the rules within combat. I plan on using ambient music but can turn it off if most do not enjoy it or find it distracting.

How Volarcanis creates a safe table

I will send a link to a Lines and Veils document. Any X, N, & O's may be publicly messaged, privately or publicly, and I will try to deal with the offending issue without disrupting gameplay.
