About the adventure
The Tomb of Horrors was beaten twenty years ago, but now, it stirs, hungry for life once more. What has caused it to reach out its dark tendrils, setting things to live once more that have been good and dead for ages? Investigate the Tomb and more in this epic return to Acererak's resting place. Step into the deadliest dungeon ever conceived! Acererak’s lair awaits those bold enough to face the twisted horrors of Return to the Tomb of Horrors. This is no ordinary dungeon crawl—your party will face necromancers, undead legions, and deadly traps designed to crush even the most powerful heroes. From the fog-shrouded streets of Kalstrand to the cursed Skull City, every step you take pulls you deeper into a realm of dark magic, necromancy, and ancient evil. Can you and your party survive the Dark Intrusion and uncover the secrets buried beneath Acererak's tomb? Join me for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure in one of D&D’s most legendary modules. This high-stakes campaign is perfect for experienced players seeking a challenge like no other. With custom maps, intricate puzzles, and cinematic battles, your party will need every ounce of cunning, bravery, and teamwork to emerge victorious—or perish within the crypts of the undying lich. This is the adventure where heroes become legends—or corpses. Are you ready to face the tomb? Come and save Greyhawk once again as the Tomb stirs and hungers for life! Are you up to the challenge of the Tomb of Horrors, and can you face down the original big bad evil guy of D&D?

Meet the Game Master
About me
Welcome! I've been running games for over 40 years, and I've published material in the game industry before. If you decide to play with me, you'll discover a fun-forward game without having to drop the fun in favor of encumbrance. I tend to lean towards rules-as-written, but that's so we all start with the same rules. I will provide you with an experience that puts your character up front, with tie-ins to backstories and developing moments in the story that involve you directly. If you're looking for old-school style play with all the flavor of new editions and play styles, then I'm the DM for you.

Creating your character
Characters are created using point-buy, average hp, 500 gp purse, starting class equipment, 1 very rare or rare magic item, 1 uncommon magic item, 3 common magic items of your choice.
We will be starting at level 12, point buy, average HP, homebrew allowed after review and accepted changes. Start with one very rare or rare, one uncommon, and three common items from published sources. The party has made their way to Moil, on the edge of the Negative Elemental Plane. There, they are overcoming the traps set in their path by Acererak while they fight their way to his Fortress of Conclusion, and where they can end the Dark Intrusion once and for all.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Prepare by making a character using D&D Beyond in the campaign indicated. We can go from there. I will examine homebrew on a case-by-case basis.
