About the adventure
A homebrew world with the Greek Gods as the pantheon, expect long form stories cantered around your D&D character and their story. Happy for new players, especially those looking for an introduction to more heavy RP D&D. This world I have ran before and am looking for a new party to run through the world with a different story. The continent I have made uses some names from Ancient Greece, but with additions and changes to make it more of a fantasy setting. For example you can visit Sparta and Athens and many other Islands. Very much appreciate any people who are a fan of the Percy Jackson series. This is an LGBTQ+ welcome space and I want it to be a welcoming space so as you can see from the content below could deal with some difficult topics. However, I will be giving a consent checklist and will remove any content that would go against what you consent to, would also like for you to make it known if something I'm introducing you are uncomfortable with, in that it will be removed in an appropriate way.

About me
I have run D&D 5e for over 2 years now. One completed game of Curse of Strahd and one ongoing homebrew, ancient Greek campaign. I mostly use Roll20 to run my games and make the maps myself using Dungeondraft.

Creating your character
I am happy to aid you as far as you want in character creation. I am happy to go into homebrew with you and work something out. I will ask that you send me your character sheet before we begin and listen to my qualms if I have any. We will start at level 3, getting you your subclass no matter which class. I also ask that if you roll your stats that the total score not go beyond 85, as I would rather you all be of comparable strength so we all players can feel they are contributing.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I expect this campaign will be ran online so I'd like a microphone and a camera so that RP is easier. You will need discord, Roll20 and D&D beyond account to use the resources.
What Tempest brings to the table
Roll20, I make custom maps on Dungeon draft and also have access to CzePeku maps for monetary use, and will usually point out when it's their creations. I also usually homebrew a lot of the creatures you will face, for more interesting combat. I usually use Spotify for some ambient music and make it available for others to contribute to, usually a Combat and general ambience playlist. I have quite a lot of content on D&D beyond and will probably invite you to a campaign there so I can share that content, the books are shared with my brother.

How Tempest creates a safe table
Consent checklist will be for me to find out exactly what you are comfortable with and what you aren't. I also recommend the use of cards, a green, yellow and red card. The yellow card is to try and stop a scene description early, get through the moment and then after we discuss it's further implication in the campaign or if it needs to be removed entirely. The red card is a design for me to undo a thing I've introduced, I end the scene and retcon back to a point where it doesn't exist in the campaign and continue on forward. The green card is to show your approval that a thing can remain in the campaign when a vote is called. Any topic can be approached to me to sort at any time if you feel certain content is not comfortabl.
