About the adventure
In the world of Everden, nestled between the mighty Crest mountain range and the vast marshes of the Mokk Fields, lies a mystical forest known as Humblewood that hums with the Great Rhythm of nature. Now the fires have come, and the Woods have been thrown into chaos. Even in these dark times, brave heroes can be found within the Wood. Will you answer the call?" This is a 10 session campaign using the 5 part adventure in the Humblewood Campaign Setting Book and add-on adventures as needed. Starting at level 1 and progressing to level 5+. We'll be using Roll20 along with other great add-ons from Hitpoint Press, including animated spells and npcs, plus unique item and possibly tarot cards. The campaign is not part of Adventurers League (AL) but we will use the character creation rules in the current AL Players Guide. New races, classes, and backgrounds that are part of the Humblewood setting will be available. The Humblewood Campaign Setting book will be shared via D&D Beyond. We will complete a virtual session 0 in discord. -------- Welcome and we hope you enjoy some of our Home Game in the Cloud sessions! We know that sometimes cramming multiple games into a single weekend each month isn't the right choice for every group and every adventure. In order to facilitate more games every month, we're adding some different ways of setting up longer-form adventuring. For this adventure, you will be purchasing individual game sessions bi-weekly for twelve or more sessions (with some potential breaks where other events interfere with the schedule). How to prepare
We will be able to roll dice in Roll20 but if you prefer to use physical dice that is welcome. If you use D&D Beyond you can add the Beyond20 web browser add-on (https://beyond20.here-for-more.info/install) to have the two connected. Gameplay details
Anonymous safety cards (X, N, O) are digital and provided with descriptions in Roll20. Each player gets a virtual session zero when they join. I'll have questions for your character, along with questions on play styles and concerns. We'll share some of that via discord ahead of time and do party warm-up questions
