About the adventure
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a Pathfinder 2e game following the 5e Tomb of Annihilation adventure module. Everyone is talking about the death curse, which afflicts anybody that was raised from the dead, wasting them away until they fall to the destiny they'd avoided. No further dead can be raised. Clerics and wizards are amiss about the cause, but the alarm is growing. You're summoned by Syndra Silvane, a retired adventurer who was raised from the dead and is withering under the curse. She claims to know the source: a necromantic artifact known as the Soulmonger. Whatever your reasons, you take the challenge, and after beign transported to Chult, the region where the artifact is rumored to be, you embark on your dangerous quest. Will you find glory? Fame? Power? Or will the death curse find you first?
Game style
Rules as Written (RaW)
Games that are ran “Rules as Written” emphasize realism and stick to the letter of the rules, allowing players to explore creative solutions while still operating under a consistent rule set. Players have the ability to utilize the rules in creative ways to create awesome characters and moments in the game.
Combat Heavy
“Combat Heavy” games emphasize the combat mechanics within their systems over roleplay or puzzle solving. There are frequent and longer battles with enemies and a greater emphasis on tactical game play.
The party is currently level 4 and consists of: - A nephilim sorcerer - A human fighter - A human wood/water kineticist - A tripkee summoner The party has just enetered the Forbidden City of Omu and is currently exploring it for clues of the Soulmonger.

How to prepare
Players should have a microphone and ideally headphones (or at least some mechanism to avoid background noise intruding in the session). Reading at least the basic character creation rules from the Player Core books is highly recommended to ensure it goes smoothly. And feel free to read as much more as you want! Players must have a FoundryVTT free account, as well as a Discord account which will be the main means of communication for the module outside of game sessions.
What I provide
I will have the FoundryVTT module ready with all the tokens, maps, music and any necessary elements for the sessions. All the character sheets will be included as well after Session 0. I believe the most important thing for this Campaign specifically is getting the right tone and feeling balancing the creeping dread innate to the plot with more lighthearted moments, and as such will focus on these narrative beats and might at times handwave some of the rules in favor of a smoother experience. However we may talk about this in Session 0 and adopt a different focus if that is your preference!
Gameplay details
We will talk about an overview of the module and player expectations in Session 0, as well as go over the Lines and Veils (we'll keep them in a Google Drive document I'll provide). The document may be expanded on at any time during future sessions and if at any point during a session you feel uncomfortable, feel free to mention it however you prefer and we will address it and/or call for a break. The campaign will at some times be more focused on tactical combat and at others be more focused on heavy roleplaying, so keep in mind this will vary from session to session.

How will character creation work
Characters will be created during Session 0 and will be done as a group, introduced into the FoundryVTT module. All characters will start at Level 1 and must have a good reason to join the mission. I will also have pregenerated characters ready if that's your preference. Characters may choose options from any of the Pathfinder 2e books (we're using the Remaster)
