About the adventure

Want to be an epic adventurer in a wild and dangerous jungle were one miss step could be your end? Then come and join us for a run through the Tomb of Annihilation! Travers the jungles and find the ancient city where the tomb resides to stop the dark magics that come from it. This is a great adventure for any players of all experience levels. We can start at level 1 or up to 5 depending on what the party would like. Then we will work our way to level 14 by the end. Fun combat, Survival and hex crawls along with dungeon exploration. Join in and see what story we can craft as a group.

Party notes

Come and join us crazy pack of adventures for good times and even better stories. I will need to do a paid one on one session (Same price as the game) to get any new players set up to join us for the next session. That session takes 90 minutes. So please be aware that if you request to join with less time then that before the session then you will need to wait until next weeks session to join in. The group has just entered the tomb and are in the last chapter of the campaign The group consists of a Cleric, warlock, bard/rogue, paladin and druid and we are level 8.

How to prepare

You will need a working mic and computer. The use of video is optional and up to the group. You only need the free version of both Dndbeyond and roll20 to play. Please have accounts set for roll20 and Dndbeyond before game time. I also recommend the free app Beyond20 that links the 2 sites so that so that your rolls and health from Dndbeyond are sent to roll20 as rolls in chat and token health is automatically updated.

What I provide

I bring my years of DMing experience, Dndbeyond sharing of all my books for character creation, Pro Roll20 account with maps and fog of war, I do voices, Music from roll20, fun tactical fights, run mostly rules as written but also use rule of cool and love it when my players come up with fun ideas.

Gameplay details

Before the campaign starts we will go over with everyone, and see what their requests/preferences are for content. As well as how far we will go into details on things. If a new player joins mid game, I will go over this with them before their first session. Open door policy: if things come up that you need to step away for, we understand, and the DM will take over your character if something takes you away. If you would preferer the DM does not do this, then your character can also step out for a bit until you come back. We all understand that life happens just do your best to keep any afk moments as brief as possible.

How will character creation work

I usually do most of the session 0 prep before our first session via discord chat so that in our first game we can go over any last session 0 things and then jump right into playing. If the group would rather do all of the session 0 prep and discussion in our first session that is fine as well. If a player is joining after the game has begun I will meet with you before your first game and go over any impotent info needed. Players are welcome to make there own characters and bring them to the game but I will need to meet with you to see how we integrate your character into the world. I am open and want to make what ever character you come up with work so bring your fun builds and I will work with you to make it work. I recommend that every character have a backstory and a few npcs they know such as family, friends or other people. I also highly recommend that a character have a personal long term goal. This can be anything you want but characters feel more real when they have a reason to be adventuring other then because they are an adventurer. If you want help with any part of character creation just let me know and I would be happy to help or set up a voice chat to go over anything you want.
