About the adventure
Have you ever wanted to play the Adventure Path that started it all for Pathfinder, but don't want the crunch of Pathfinder 1st Edition rules? Do you want to play a non-d20 RPG? Well, look no further! This game will be using the Pathfinder For Savage Worlds rules put out by Pinnacle Entertainment Group as well as the official conversion of the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path! It is run by one of the game master gurus of Savage Worlds, James Smith of the Knights of the Smith Dinner Table!

How to prepare
You will need a microphone, a desktop or laptop (Foundry does not like Tablets or phones), and access to Discord. Reading the rules of Pathfinder for Savage Worlds is optional, and access to the game is done through a web browser (Chrome or Edge work best). Dice rolling and character sheets will be handled in Foundry.
What I provide
Everything you will need for the game, other than yourself, is provided by FoundryVTT.
Gameplay details
*Content Warning: Due to the nature of the Adventure Path, there will be many of the items on the content warning list. Be advised, this will be a game for mature audiences. There may be many scenes which can possibly trigger people. Game Play: We will be playing through the entirety of the Rise of the Runelords campaign using the Pathfinder for Savage Worlds rules. Please understand that this is a different system from Pathfinder 1e. Some things will be familiar, others will not. Role-playing is encouraged, don't be a wallflower! If you think one of your fellow players deserves a benny for something cool they did, speak up! The Savage Worlds system is a very loose system that promotes storytelling and action over crunchy dice mechanics. If you want to try something crazy, speak up! I will ask for a dice roll, not go hunting in the rulebooks for some esoteric rule that may or may not cover it! We are here to experience the story of the Adventure Path, the rules just provide a framework to do it! Absolute rules: -If you do not agree with a ruling, say something respectfully and politely. If I agree that a change needs to be made, I will either make it on the spot or make it for the next time a similar issue arises. If it is something I am unsure about or disagree with, I am always happy to discuss it between sessions. -BE POLITE TO YOUR FELLOW PLAYERS! We all come from different backgrounds and experiences. Keep that in mind and treat everyone with the same respect you expect. -If you cannot make a session, please advise me so I don't hold up the others enjoyment. I understand that real life and family come first. That being said, it is disrespectful to not advise the GM if you are unable to make a session. 3 no call/no shows will result in your spot being filled with someone else. -If you do not know how to do something, whether it be related to FoundryVTT or Savage Worlds, please ask! I enjoy teaching folks how to play this game!

How will character creation work
You will need a free account on Savaged.us. I will send each player a link to the campaign, and from there you can build your character, which I will then import into Foundry. This will be done during session 0. Also, you will create your own character image and token. This can be done with Heroforge (or other token maker) and shared to me (preferred) or with your own art you created (always a fun option).
