Dungeons of Drakkenheim | The Shape of Faith (2024R)

Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign

About the adventure

"We will see each other again when the time is right." Fifteen years ago, Drakkenheim was devastated by the meteor. The royal family is presumed dead, and the resulting civil war has shifted the balance of power across the continent. Opportunities abound, as the faithful, disillusioned, and rebellious all conspire to reshape the city in their vision. The meteor changed everything, will you let this new world choose for you? -> Personal Quests with powerful rewards -> Ruins teeming with friends and foes -> Research the corrupting influence of the Haze -> Flavorful setting-specific subclasses -> Build alliances with powerful factions -> All current DoD content + previews of future material -> Unique monsters you won't find elsewhere Cinematic trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wnGvCvIkq8 PLEASE NOTE: My community is committed to diversity, equality, and inclusion. If you support transphobia, homophobia, racism, misogyny, ableism, or any other form of bigotry or fascism, you probably won’t be comfortable at my table. You’ll need to look for another game.

Game style

Roleplay Heavy

“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.

I have had such a great experience with Shevek. Excellent game running. Super knowledgeable in the setting and the rules. Very smooth RP between various and wildly different NPCs to help make an immersive story. Very good at recognizing issues with players and addressing them. Highly recommended DM!

If you're looking for someone with the professionalism that a price-point implies, and the comradery of a tight knit group of players you've found the right place. Every session is a joy with this man and I look forward to every week to see where the story will go

shevek is exactly who you are looking for! He is a naturally-talented gm (and great human) that will immerse and worldbuild with you. His games are a ton of fun and well-paced with plenty of memorable characters and encounters. Our table has laughs, tears, sweat, blood, slime and delirium. This is the experience you want!

Shevek is amazing—from beginning to end, their session screams fun while making you feel included. I instantly felt like I wasn’t just in a story, but actually a part of it; my actions had a real impact on a living, breathing world. I’ve never hesitated to roleplay thanks to the welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment that Shevek creates in their games. They have a beautiful setup with their virtual tabletop and a clear mastery of the software. Top-tier experience.

My regular game night was rescheduled for the Holidays so I was able to jump into a level 20 one shot with Shevek - and it was awesome! Running a game at high level like this can be tough, but they didnt bat an eye running the game smoothly. Shevek runs a very chill table, and has cultivated a very cool community of folks to play with. Their game knowlege was top tier, and their storytelling was fantastic. 11/10 would jump in again.

Shevek is so inviting as a GM and always open for any questions/ queries. Super communicative about anything that needs to be addressed. I was giving up on D&D as a hobby as I've had a string of terrible games but Shevek has been so good I've gotten back into the hobby and revitalized my love for this game. Cannot recommend highly enough!

What I provide

-> Camaraderie - Tables built from session 0 with connections in mind, a space to be yourself with like-minded players. -> Mementos - Qualify for custom token art after 3 sessions and more via Elderidge Art. -> Attentiveness - Voice or text, happy to field system knowledge, backstory or similar queries between sessions. -> Opportunities - Cameo in adventures and meet other folks in the community. -> Continuity - Defeating the schedule boss is a given, but I'm happy to run for as few as three players, rather than pushing unrelated content or systems. -> Visuals - High quality assets sourced from creators throughout the community; AI-generated assets are never used in my games. -> Sacred Texts! - All official 5e content plus some extras - premium maps, music and soundscapes. -> Engagement - Worlds + NPCs with personality, drives, and flair. -> Accessibility - Snappy VTT automation and little helpers.

Gameplay details

💅 Table Culture 💅 In general the community we've cultivated over several years has drifted away from 'XD so random' characters, meta-, and powergaming. If these are things you need to ensure your personal play experience, this may not be the right listing for you. PVPers (combat or pickpocketing), lone wolves, and low-agency + strict alignment mentalities need not apply. We welcome folks that are interested in making risky choices for the things there aren't always rules for. A key to avoiding problems at the table starts showing up with an open mind and willing attitude. We often find ourselves using the good bones of a module while still having space to improvise. Flexibility and improvisation go hand in hand, and I love to bring uniquely focused social and combat encounters to the fore. Above all I emphasize RP + collaborative storytelling (flavor is always free). I strive to help folks unwind and have a great time; if you value roleplay with opportunites to show off some of your skills, this is the place for you. Content + Safety Utilizing safety tools helps cultivate a positive and inclusive gaming space. Helping our partymates be awesome dovetails nicely here. We will utilize a checklist based on the TTRPG Safety Toolkit, the X, N, O cards built into Foundry's interface, open door policy, and stars + wishes. Non-featured content: harm to children or domestic creatures, explicit sexuality, sexual assault, systemic racism, homophobia, or transphobia. Allegories of racial prejudice + bioessentialism have been cut from the official setting. ✋Zero tolerance policy for harassment or discrimination based on race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, or experience level. Please don't attend sessions under the influence of any substance to a noticeable degree. GM reserves the right to remove you from session if this becomes the case. GM reserves the right to remove a player immediately if violating any of the ground rules. 📏I run primarily Rules as Written (RAW), but I'm happy to ask 'what serves the story in this moment?' in key moments.
