About the adventure
The Two-Headed Serpent is an action-packed, globe-spanning and high-octane campaign set in the 1930s for Pulp Cthulhu. As part of Caduceus, a global medical aid organization, you begin to face the sinister conspiracies of an ancient race of monsters hell-bent on taking back a world that was once theirs. It becomes a desperate battle to save humanity from enslavement or annihilation! 🗺️ Illustrative maps, handouts, and artwork 🎭 Professional theatrical storytelling with dynamic NPCs 🎸 Soundtrack and ambient noise to heighten the mood 🖥️ All official game resources to begin your investigations 🔍 Beginner-friendly while still challenging more experienced investigators 🏳️🌈 Inclusive environment for all identities, in and out of game 💖 Dedicated Discord server for questions, concerns, and casual banter The Two-Headed Serpent is a nine-chapter campaign designed for the Pulp Cthulhu. Solve the mysteries before the madness (or something worse) consumes you! Estimated 3-4 Sessions per chapter (27-36 Sessions) plus a Session 0 for character creation & campaign development catered to our group.
The first 5-10 minutes of each session will be used for character updating and review of the previous session. The rest of the time will be devoted to gameplay.

Part of our Session 0 will involve going over lines, veils, and other content that the table might wish to avoid or minimize. Players who join mid-game should discuss these topics with me during our One-on-One Session 0. There are certain themes that are central to the text and cannot be avoided. Call of Cthulhu games necessarily play on themes of body horror and mental illness. Tabletop role-playing games are meant to be an escape from the troubles of our daily lives. Above-table prejudices, including racism, misogyny, homophobia and transphobia are NOT acceptable at my table and will lead to your immediate removal.

How will character creation work
Characters should be created per standard Pulp Cthulhu rules. The campaign offers pre-generated investigators, which are recommended as a starting point for new players, as well as character templates for creating adventurers. Character creation will be part of Session 0 and will establish all of the investigators within the campaign as well as any relationships with NPCs or other tie-ins to the initial storyline.
