Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello everyone! It's Shatargat! I'm a gamemaster with Turkish nationality, who runs his games in English since mid 2022. I'm a game designer and scenario author, and I mostly use these skills on my games. My main genre in everything is horror. I really like horror, occultism, supernatural stuff, mystery and other dark themes as well. I personally prefer heavy and extreme touches on the games, but I know that I can meet people on the common ground, and bring fun into these dark games. I'm also a content creator in my native language. And companies like Chaosium Inc., Helmgast, Free League Publishing and Renegade Game Studios support my content, and I introduce their game to my local audience. I also started to publish my own creations in English, under the name Black Dragon Tomes. My first book is YZE-inspired game called Lost Echoes. I'm also working on other personal projects, too. I believe that friendship, and, understanding and tolerating each other is the most important thing in life. Without communication, we cannot find a good place to have fun, right? BTW: If you have any special request from me (like running an extremely niche game such as Invisible Suns), you can book me with the price on my profile. I always enjoy to tryout new things, or provide specific games, but that requires more energy and work load, that's why the booking price is a little different than the regular announcements.

Shatargat's Masks of Nyarlathotep has been superb so far. Enthusiastic and well prepped GM and a really nice group. Can recommend him especially for horror/mystery adventures, Shatargat seems to have a good sense of style for this kind of stuff. I especially appreciate that he does not seem to shy away from player character death, making things feel dangerous and exciting rather than just walking through the story.
Shatargat is great. Our Call of Cthulhu game sessions have all been fun and friendly, which is most important to me. He's enthusiastic, is always prepped for the session, and obviously loves the game setting and material. Really had a good time investigating the Masks of Nyarlathotep. Would definitely recommend!
"An unforgettable descent into madness – in the best way possible!" I just wanted to give a huge thank you to our amazing Keeper for crafting such a rich, atmospheric, and chilling experience. Every detail, from the slow burn of suspense to the mind-shattering revelations, was masterfully handled. You didn’t just run a game—you guided us through a living nightmare that felt straight out of Lovecraft’s pages. The pacing was perfect, the NPCs felt real (and often terrifying), and the mystery kept us guessing until the very end. You managed to balance horror, investigation, and character development with such finesse, giving everyone moments to shine while keeping the tension razor sharp. It's not easy to make us laugh one moment and question our sanity the next, but you nailed it. Thanks for a fantastic session—I already can’t wait for the next spiral into the unknown!

How Shatargat creates a safe table
This is a weekly grand campaign of Horror on the Orient Express. If you're new with Call of Cthulhu, that's totally fine. I will guide you through the game rules and character creation process. This is a mystery/investigation adventure, rather than action. You will need to ask the right questions, find the clues, but sometimes, take the risks. Sometimes you might come across with unpleasant scenes, such as murder or body horror. Sometimes that might be more mental, like the moment that your dreams and reality mix-up. If you feel any disturbance or discomfort, you can cut my words and warn me. We can skip the details and continue.
