About the adventure
In the sleepy coastal town of Sandpoint, evil is brewing. An attack by crazed goblins during the annual Swallowtail Festival quickly turns into something more ominous as the shadows of a dark past come back to haunt the town—and perhaps all of Varisia. Can the heroes stop the awakening of a legendary runelord and keep him from reclaiming his lost kingdom of greed? The Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path begins with a goblin attack and takes players on an epic journey through the land of Varisia as they track a cult of serial killers, fight depraved backwoods ogres, stop an advancing army of stone giants, delve deep into ancient dungeons to reclaim weapons of unbelievable power, and finally go up against an all-powerful wizard-king in his ancient mountaintop city! This is the first Pathfinder Adventure Path ever published and has been updated from its original 3.5 D&D rules to Pathfinder 1E with the Anniversary Edition. I have personally played through this Adventure path six times four as game master and two as a player! It is my personal favorite story and is filled with everything an adventure would want; from goblins, to giants, to undead to dragons and even mad wizards, this campaign has it all! How to prepare
Come with a basic knowledge of the ruleset for Pathfinder1e, it will be helpful if you understand first level character creation using point buy and have access to both a video camera, microphone, and computer. A roll20 account is also needed, which is free for players!
What I provide
I will provide all the needed rulebooks and content to complete the adventures. I will also record and provide a 1080p High Definition video of each of the sessions for the player to keep. I also have macros for use on roll20 if players desire to use those over the build in character sheets.
Gameplay details
Players can expect fast past combat and believable NPCs that will give you as much as you give them. We will also be using voice and video so we can see one another and be more invested both in the game and one another's characters!

How will character creation work
Character creation will take place during sessions zero where we will go over the the basics of the setting, the story, and the "How to" of character creations. I run character creation as a collaborative experience with the group so that everyone has a chance to discuss ideas and character concepts together.
