About the adventure
Will you be the very best... like no one ever was? Welcome to Pokemon Life, a full sandbox campaign set in the Pokemon Universe! I shall be your professor, leading you through an epic tale of friendship, adorable (or frightening) monsters, and nasty villains whose evil deeds must be stopped! In this world, YOU are the deciding factor of the campaign - almost everything that happens to you will be based on your decisions, your character choices, and your backstory. If you want to go somewhere, then all you'll need is the means in-game - I'm not going to stop you with the story railroad. You're the conductor of your story, not me. I'm just the engineer who keeps YOUR train rolling! Each Pokemon Life game is set in a different region, as indicated by the name of the campaign and written out in the recruiting notes. Make sure you check and ensure you're joining the right game! If I haven't started a campaign in your favorite region, please message me - if enough folks are interested, I'll start up a new adventure ASAP in their chosen generation!
Session 0 is free! New adventures every Monday afternoon! In this campaign, your party is a group of fresh Pokemon Trainers in the Sinnoh region, just setting out with their new partners to tackle the Gym Challenge! However, there's more than just wild Pokemon lurking out there... nefarious Teams are scheming and reaching for incredible power, and dark forces are rising up to threaten the land! The fate of the region, and possibly the world, are resting in your hands!

How to prepare
My players will need to join my StartPlaying Discord channel. They'll need a microphone and the ability to have a browser tab open to run Foundry VTT. No installations or purchases necessary - the whole game will run on a single web browser window!
What I provide
I will be bringing maps, music and tokens, and will create custom tokens for my players if they provide me the artwork they want for their characters. I will also provide a quick link to the necessary rule books.
Gameplay details
My players can expect a vast campaign world to explore at their leisure. They will be the driving force the campaign, with their characters pursuing their own goals and ideals. I may provide episodic events for them to enjoy, but only as filler between their own goals, story beats, and major events.

How will character creation work
Character creation will be covered in full during session zero. I will expect my players to have an idea of what kind of characters they want to play. It is worth noting that the players cannot choose their own starters prior to the first session - this will be a story event for them to play through.
