How to prepare

Please ensure you have a device with working camera and mic and a D&D Beyond account. Please have a working character idea or level 1 character made by session zero.

What I provide

I bring the VTT (Owlbear Rodeo), Discord Server, A D&D Beyond account for character creation and content. I also bring a large amount of other content that influences my game(random tables, third party books, media related to GMing). The overlapping theme in all of my games is player choice and engagement. I want the players to make bold choices and take brave action. At times, I may reward this as means of encouraging this behavior. This is YOUR story and you get to decide what your character does. I try to balance combat, role play, and exploration, but lean more into what the party wants. Personally, exploration is my favorite. I mainly do rules as written, but do like to use critfail tables and do change minor rules, usually in favor of players. Rules are important, but sometimes can really complicate things and get in the way of the fun. I will,however, never change rules in such a way that it takes away from the players powers and abilities.

How will character creation work

Please have a character made(or at least a concept beforehand). Characters start at level 1. I have a D&D Beyond link for character creation that can be sent after joining game. All RAW content is acceptable for my games and third party is case by case basis. Stats can be rolled manually, or done with standard array. I am going to ask that rolled stats be done through D&D Beyond, so that we can verify honesty(if you fake stats or rolls, this doesn't hurt me, it hurts everyone at the table). The first session will be a session zero along with some play once these issues have been settled. If you have questions, please reach out beforehand and I'll answer them, they way they can be addressed at session zero, as well.
