    About the adventure

A few clips from my sessions: https://youtu.be/skSi4oFDScs Games that I run have: Expert DMing and improvisational skills to roll with your decisions and ideas 🧙‍♂️🎭 A homebrew setting, shaped and enjoyed by dozens of players over a decade 🗺 Professional/Animated battlemaps 🌆 Spell effects 🎆 Voice acting 🔊 Traipse through the planes in a quest to preserve the balance between Law and Chaos! BOOK 2: Your party has earned their home in Axis, hub of the worlds, but all is not well- corrupting decay has crept into the portals that join the planes, and the mythical city of Tanelorn is threatened. Can you collect the legendary sibling-weapons Blackrazor, Whelm, and Wave and put an end to the threat?! The vibe of this campaign is heavily inspired by Planescape, of which I have been a big fan for a long time. Adventure examples: Visiting the Pillar of Fire to steal a broken rod from the Brazen Sultan’s vaults. Negotiating with a Pit Fiend’s ink-devils for a client’s soul. Guarding an interplanar diplomat from Tiamat’s draconic assassins. Hitching a ride aboard a gith ship to the corpse of a dead god floating in the Sea of Dreams.

    Gameplay details

Players can expect relatively fast-paced 5e D&D tactical combat, roleplaying opportunities, and exploration of dark and dangerous locations. D&D is, as a system, focused on combat- but if you want to spend time forming relationships with people of the village, or negotiating with foes, there are opportunities for such if you seize them! This is a fantasy world that includes combat, death, dangers, and magic. Please voice any issues (ex. arachnophobia) before or, if necessary, during play- this is an entertaining and engaging experience, mild discomfort may occur depending on the vividness of your imagination, but you should never be made more uncomfortable than you're comfortable with, if that makes sense :) 'Romantic' encounters are fade to black (the bard and the barman are into one-another, that night they meet, fade to black on that). Descriptions of blood, death, violence, etc. are present but are not a focus- the intent is to draw you into the scene, not to upset you with vivid descriptions of torture or death.

    How will character creation work

The first session of the game will include a 'Session 0,' where we create characters together, discuss the party and any relationships between characters, align expectations for the game and more. If players are new to Dungeons & Dragons, we'll go over what to expect from a tabletop roleplaying game in general. It's fun once you realize that you're in an open world and can make the decisions you like (albeit with consequences ;) )! If necessary or desired, pre-generated characters are available. After the completion of this portion, we can begin the adventure with the remaining time!

    Players can expect

    • Combat/Tactics: High
    • Roleplay: High
    • Puzzles: Medium
    • Experience Level: Open to all
