Create a shared story with your adventuring party, and shape your world through rich, long-term campaign play. ABOUT THE SYSTEM When it's time for the game mechanics to control fate, players roll one HOPE die and one FEAR die (both 12-sided dice), which will ultimately impact the outcome for your characters. This duality between the forces of hope and fear on every hero drives the unique character-focused narratives in Daggerheart.

How to prepare

We are going to need: - a http://playrole.com account; - a stable internet connection; - a quiet location; - an ok microphone so that everyone hears you nicely; Recommendable, but not essential: - a webcam; - writing implements for your own notes (digital or physical, whatever you prefer).

Gameplay details

As a Queer, Neurodivergent Game Facilitator from the Global South I strive to make my tables welcoming to players of all backgrounds, especially from marginalized groups which includes making accommodations for individual player needs and kicking out bigots and fascists from my table (then reporting them). 🌻♾️🏳️‍🌈 All players are required to join Session 0, where we will discuss mutual interests, goals, and play styles, as well as establishing our lines and veils and other safety tools. We begin our first gameplay scene as soon as we establish safety play boundaries. Our biggest ally is the Check In: use it liberally! ✅ 🔴 Default lines: - Ableism; - Child abuse - Homophobia; - Transphobia; - Racism, fantasy racism; - Sexual violence/harassment; - Player-on-Player gaslighting and bullying; - Player-on-Player TRASH (transphobia, racism, ableism, sexism, homophobia) behavior; 🟡 Default veils: - Child endangerment; - Xenophobia; - Gaslighting; - Fatphobia; - Eating disorders; - Police violence; - Sexual interaction/descriptions; - Spiders; - Bullying.
