About the adventure

Venture into the mist shrouded land of Barovia and face your greatest fears in The Curse of Strahd. This popular adventure will test your mettle against the Vampire Lord Strahd von Zarovich and his legion of undead minions. Ultimately, your goal will be to survive and defeat Strahd, but you will need allies and weapons for the fight. I have kept the content of this module as close to the source material as I can, while also adding my own unique take on the world. Players of all skill levels are welcome. Expect an experience powered by Foundry VTT, which will offer an array of quality of life improvements, effects, sounds, and music.

How to prepare

You will need the following to participate in my game: - A computer with high speed internet that can access a Chrome web browser. - A high quality microphone. - A Discord Account - A Forge-VTT account (this is free) - A D&D Beyond account Web cams are entirely optional.

What I provide

The use of Forge-Vtt.com will run my Foundry VTT server smoothly. Expect a variety of features of everything you would expect from a Virtual Table Top and more. I encourage players to role play but they are in no way obligated to be super intense about it. Combat will be exciting and fun, but also fair. Expect me attempting to voice the various NPCs that you'll encounters in and out of combat and doing my best to create a detailed scene within your mind. You will have access to most of the vanilla books like Xanathar's Guide to Everything and the classic Player's Handbook.

Gameplay details

We will have a session 0 to go over my table rules, how the game is going to feel, rules and boundaries, etc. We can talk about the goals of your character, if any. Expect to see this game to pop up in the que until we have a team of 5.

How will character creation work

Create a character on D&D beyond and then we will import that character into Foundry VTT using a special tool. You may also use the tool I have within Foundry VTT to create your character. Either way, you will be starting at level 1 with basic starting gold.
