About the adventure
BEGINNER FRIENDLY! OPEN AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT! FULLY LOADED IN FOUNDRY! Whether this is your first time playing RPGs or you're a veteran gamer, you'll find a home in this campaign. There will be a mixture of exploration, role-playing, and combat as you delve into the adventure. Millennia ago, the dwarven creator god Torag shook the earth and called the dwarves to the surface in the Quest for Sky. Taargick rose from the hardships of this journey, becoming the Sky King of Highhelm. For centuries he ruled, creating monuments to Torag and the accomplishments of his people…and then he vanished without a trace. About me

Creating your character
We will use Discord to talk broadly about the campaign and the kinds of characters we are thinking of playing. After that, I'll walk you through character creation so you can create 1st-level Pathfinder Second Edition character yourself or ask me to create a character for you. We're using the Remastered Pathfinder Second Edition rules. If you want me to make a character for you, please contact me at least 3 days beforehand.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
No need for any RPG experience--I'll teach you everything you need to know to play the game! Microphone required, webcam optional. Pathbuilder app is a great tool for building characters if you're making your own: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.redrazors.pathbuilder2e&pcampaignid=web_share You'll need a Forge account to get to our Foundry VTT: https://forge-vtt.com/ We'll use Discord for voice and video, so you'll need a Discord account as well. Characters will be kept on Forge.
What Brian brings to the table
I will have tokens for all players and monsters as well as artwork for key NPCs. We'll use Foundry as our VTT. I try to make NPCs interesting by giving them each their own voice and personality. Combat is fast-paced and exciting as you learn your character's capabilities.

How Brian creates a safe table
Session 0 will be a mixture of discussing expectations, finishing up characters, and jumping into the action. This adventure is about exploring, fighting monsters, uncovering the past, and role-play. There are many opportunities to resolve conflicts without violence. The game takes place in Golarion, the default setting of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. It begins in Highhelm, a powerful dwarven city. Soon enough, the characters set out into the Darklands in pursuit of knowledge and the location of a lost tomb. None have found it: will you be the first? We will use the X, N, and O card system of safety tools. There will be a 5-10 minute break partway through the session as well.
