About the adventure
A relentless rainstorm has flooded the surrounding farmlands forcing the companions to seek shelter in a small inn. As they wait out the storm, they find themselves drawn into a quest to help the local farmers. Yet, this is merely the stepping stone for the greater adventure that begins to unfold. This is the first chapter in a larger story, and is intended to build and bond the party and characters. It can be used as a one-off as well. It uses milestones to advance a character from levels 1-4.

About me
Hey there! I'm Jesse, your friendly neighborhood DM, and I've been riding the role-playing wave for almost 40 years now. It all started with me and my friends as 8 year-olds exploring the Gygax originals and getting lost in the fantastical worlds spun by our creative minds. In fact, one of our original adventures is still ongoing four decades later. I'm here because my friends tell me I should share the story I have created with the greater community. I'm all about story-driven adventures, puzzles and uncovering hidden secrets. I want my players to feel like they're not just playing characters; they're living out epic sagas filled with twists, turns, and moral quandaries. Every decision matters, and the consequences ripple through the campaign, shaping the story in unexpected ways. My campaigns aren't just about rolling dice and defeating monsters (although that's pretty fun too); they're about weaving intricate narratives that tug at heartstrings, spark the imagination and absorb the player into the world.

Creating your character
You can create a character draft before session 0 but feel free to wait until during or after to finalize or start afresh. Players are required to have a level 1 character sheet prepared in D&D Beyond for session 1. Use point buy or standard array for stats. Or feel free to roll 4d6's publicly in session 0 You can choose any alignment, however, this story is intended for good characters. If you have any special requests check with me first.
Every Monday. Everything through D&D Beyond and Discord for ease of use.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will use D&D Beyond for Character Sheets, BattleMaps and Dice Rolls. We will use Discord for Voice and general information. If you are new to D&D, not a problem. I can guide you through character creation and gameplay.

How Jesse creates a safe table
This is a classic good vs evil adventure and the bad-guys do bad stuff. Players can expect an 'R-rated' traditional fantasy adventure with mature themes. Discussions on content, gameplay and safety will occur during Session 0.
