About the adventure
Pathfinder’s most-popular campaign ever returns in this massive new compilation updated for Pathfinder Second Edition on Foundry Virtual Tabletop! The Stolen Lands have long been the domain of bandits and monsters, but no longer! Your party has been granted a charter to explore these wilds, defeat its dangers, and build a brand new nation. Yet not everyone will welcome you as new neighbors, and powerful supernatural forces have their own plans for the region. Can you defeat your kingdom’s enemies and become leaders of one of the greatest new nations in the world? The Kingmaker Adventure Path presents a full-length campaign that chronicles the rise of a new nation—a kingdom built and ruled by your player characters! Face off against bands of bloodthirsty bandits, deadly and dangerous monsters, and mysterious menaces from other realities as you fight to claim the Stolen Lands as your own. Will you rule with justice and mercy, or will you become the very monsters you fought to oppose? In the Kingmaker Adventure Path, the destiny of the world’s newest nation is yours to decide!

About me
Hello fellow gamers! I have loved TTRPGs since my first encounter with them in junior high school, when my friends and I played old school 2nd Edition D&D. In my early adulthood I fell in love with D&D 3/3.5, and became a forever DM amongst my friends. I have been running D&D 5E for the past few years and have been running Pathfinder 2E for 2+ years now here on StartPlaying. I have over 25 years experience as a GM across several TTRPGs. I am an avid gamer and storyteller with a deep love for this hobby. So please come and join my games, and lets start playing together!

I am in a game with Fiona and have Josh as a GM. We also have another player who is playing an Orc Champion. This character is a Redeemer and a great scene developed as he tried to heal a monster to give her a chance at redemption. This got into a philosophical argument after the battle with Fiona trying to point out that in battle you have to have clear lines so that we can progress forward and that death of another is acceptable. I started to argue that what was being offered was not redemption but enslavement. I am playing an evil character and working with the party. We have started to develop a chemistry as I will take advantage of the good characters being good to get what I want and giving them an out they will appreciate. Like letting a murder off because he gave me something to prove he is dead for the 150 gold bounty while keying on the redemption of the murderer for the Champion. My motivation was the money and I got backup from the Champion because of the redemption. We are all playing roles within a party and working well together. It has been a great deal of fun.
Dom is a great teacher - he has amazing knowledge of the rules. He also cares about player fun, so he's willing to make adjustments during character creation, and during play, to ensure that people are getting enjoyment out of playing the character. He's always keeping the games positive, even when we're all rolling terribly! He is up to date with all the latest Foundry modules and mechanics, and takes time between games to make helpful little buttons/effects/links for player's character skills/abilities that aren't currently supported in the software. I look forward to playing with him each and every game session.
It's always a blast playing with Josh. It's great having a GM who wants his players to succeed and shares in that success with the players. Sometimes that's via the rule of cool allowing players to really shine in fun moments, sometimes it through awarding hero points for creative ideas and risk-taking in play. No matter what, I always look forward to game night because Josh makes game night super fun! I'm glad to have him as our DM, especially as someone newer to Pathfinder 2e.
Character creation
Creating your character
The game will start at level 1. I will create a Discord server for the game and invite players to join, and we can discuss the game and character building/creation which should be done prior to the first session. Characters will be created beforehand using the Pathbuilder app. and submitting character art. I will be happy to help you with any questions you may have via Discord.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a working mic, a Discord account for voice chat and a web browser with hardware acceleration enabled for Foundry (not Safari). Some level of experience in Pathfinder 2E is required such as familiarity with the general system and how to build a character/use Pathbuilder.
What Dominemesis brings to the table
I will provide Foundry VTT, Discord server, the Paizo official AP module for Foundry which includes the adventure background, maps, and tokens, a curated soundtrack for the game chosen from Slip.Stream's royalty free tracks. Years of GM experience across multiple TTRPG systems, and a strong desire to provide a fun and engaging gaming experience.
