About the adventure
Be the hero! Be the bad guy! Be that one dude who goes and just wants to craft or cook all day but keeps getting pulled into various incidents! Designed to run the story you want to tell, let me take you on a journey that holds peril, tests of faith (mainly in dice), and glory as you carve the destiny of the characters you wish to be. These are private games that feature only one player and the Game Master (me). I offer many different stories to tell, and each may have a similar song and dance plot wise, how you get there can be vastly different, and the outcome? Well, that may not be something achievable in a normal group game. I provide curated stories and an improvised world setting to include your character's backstory into it and make it front an center. When you sign up, you just need to tell me what you want to do, what story you want to tell, and how difficult or epic you want to final result to be. About me
Some dragons hoard gold. Others hoard gemstones. While I never will turn down such hoards, I hoard stories - a hoard that grows with each passing day. As a long-term roleplay writer, I enjoy creating new stories and curating prewritten ones to fit the tone or purpose of my stories, parties, and games. I have been type-roleplaying for many years, being part of the forum roleplay groups back in the age of Gaia Online and other similar groups. Since then, I have been writing posts that expressed the inner workings, the active actions, and the pointed conversations of hundreds of complex characters. This is only amplified when compiling them together to form a story that is reactive and interactable from a group seeking the next dawn. I have a corgi familiar named Fenrir who often enjoys giving me the Help action and is a mini-celebrity amongst my players, often having a related npc or party pet that represents Fenrir and his antics. I value narrative context and will do my best to fit the mechanics to the narrative you want. This has led me to curating and crafting custom content - often referred to as homebrew - for several games, players, and even other game masters. I do my best to not include AI generated imagery in my live games, choosing to not use such images for advertisement and actively replacing any edge/unknown cases with commissioned pieces, and often support growing artists in my communities. I also do not use AI in any of my play-by-post messages. This provides a raw experience to my creative inspirations.

Creating your character
You will need: - an idea of what you want to play - a dnd beyond (free) account - a v1 dicecloud (free) account if you will be using homebrew - a discord (free) account If you would like to bring these, you can: - real dice (I don't mind if you like to roll your own ^.^) - your own dnd beyond content - your own homebrew (pdfs, pictures of physical content, or some form of documentation I can review)
These are one-on-one games. Number of seats is the number of different active games I have going. I update 1-3 times minimum daily and can run alternate systems like Dragonbane and Legends in the Mist. Message me for details.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need to create free accounts for dndbeyond and discord. You will also need to create a free account for v1 dicecloud if you plan on using any homebrew content. If you plan on requesting homebrew content to run in this game that isn't going to be provided for you, I will request you set up a way for me to review the content. Playtest material is fine, as well, as long as I have a document, like a Google doc to view. Finally, you will need to join my main discord server: https://discord.gg/spdFdysetg so I can redirect you to your private server.

How Onyx (Megan) creates a safe table
As with any of my games, I offer the following safety precautions: - open door policy: if you are uncomfortable with the current situation, you are open to take a break. I only ask that you let me know so I can handle the billing side for you and work with you to make the situation better - lines and veils discussion: while I have a listing of content warnings that will appear in most of my games, they are not all inclusive and, in some cases, a little general. I will be requesting a list of lines and veils to work around in the story you want. - bleed and triggers: I will be overseeing content that is sent out and checking for any irregular in character or out of character posts that may have been caused by a situation in the story. These posts can be a sign of bleed caused by previously unknown triggers. Breaks will be provided for players that suffer from this and a discussion on how to avoid it going forward will be had after a cool down period is provided.
