About the adventure
Whether through exemplary service, unique skills, or simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time, you have been inducted into the God Emperor's holy Inquisition. However, you have yet to truly prove yourself to the man holding your leash. A suitable mission has been found to prove your... capabilities, whether as an asset or merely a meat shield. Dark Heresy is a TTRPG about becoming something more than yet another cog in the sputtering, dying machine that is the Imperium. Whether you are a member of the local security forces, a scribe, a guardsman, or nothing more than a mutant, you have been given the chance to prove that you be more. A stalwart soldier against the encroaching corruption? A single-minded agent willing to do whatever it takes? “Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.

How to prepare
Webcam will not be necessary, but microphone is a must. Players will be provided with all the materials necessary to learn the rules and system. It will not be obligatory to read everything, but at least a rough understanding of the combat and key systems such as skills and talents will be required for session 0. No physical items needed due to the virtual nature of the game.
What I provide
Modules for combat visuals with explosions, wrecks, and fires, macros for ease of play, hand-picked music, and custom maps made by myself through Dungeondraft.
Gameplay details
Session 0 will consist of everyone introducing their characters in an OOC manner, discussing any remaining questions about rules, and playing a small combat encounter so everyone can get accustomed to the various mechanics and kinks of the Dark Heresy system. A 5-10 minute break will happen once per game to get drinks, go to the bathroom, stretch, etc.

How will character creation work
Character creation will follow the rules stated in the books for a fresh acolyte and will be finalized during Session 0. The extra background options in all the expansion books will be available save for some (GM Fiat).
