About the adventure
**This is a campaign in progress. New players start at level 6 ** The land of Ghom rests between the Greytop Mountain Range and the Winedark Sea. It is a land that has seen the rise and fall of more than one great empire. In this 5e campaign, adventurers will carve their destinies amidst the ruins of once-great empires, taking on the roles of heroes seeking glory, fortune, and answers in a realm abandoned by the gods. This campaign chronicles the story of a band of pukkha (forest-dwelling descendants of a once powerful empire) and their volki (wolf-like humanoid) protector. Rhime, the warlock has been searching for the Everglas Key to fulfill the wishes of his patron. Emberheart, the druid quested to find what became of her long lost parents. Starmirror and Leaf are lifelong friends from their forest home who have joined them on their journeys along with Laddie, their bodyguard. Along the way this band of furry travelers have faced against the undead, traversed the skies in an airship, and faced a shadow dragon! After finding the key and defeating the Dread Knight, Azrakai, our heroes have returned to where their adventure began, the city of Riverport. Rhime handed the key to the wizard Argolfus Branderbiggle (who created the Everglas along with four other elemental keys). Suddenly the unthinkable happened. Upon touching the key, Branderbiggle melted into a pile of dust and bones! The pukkhas (and Laddie) must now figure what to do as the second act of their journey begins.

How to prepare
We will communicate either through Roll 20 or Discord and will use the Rolll 20 tabletop experience. A Roll 20 free account and microphone will be necessary. Players should have a general idea of what type of character they want to play. Character creation will happen during session zero/before session one.
What I provide
I have the vast majority of official 5e materials at hand. I am willing and able to assist new players with character creation and development. I agree with the rule of cool in situations where the rules are not clear. Player characters are free to attempt anything, but success is dependent upon their abilities and the dice.
Gameplay details
I do not ever include topics like slavery or sexual assault in my games. I don't generally allude to sexual situations and if any such thing occurs in game between consenting adults I believe in "panning away". Adult humor is ok with me if everyone at the table is an adult. Even then it depends on what the players are comfortable with. This is one of the reasons session zero is important.

How will character creation work
The game starts at first level. We will use the Roll 20 character sheet and most dice rolls can be accomplished by clicking on the relevant ability in the app. I am happy to go step by step with players making characters. I can also set up the Roll 20 character sheet so that players do not need to worry about calculating every dice roll.
