How to prepare

Players should create an account on Discord and set up a at least a microphone to work with Discord's call function; integrating a webcam is optional, though I will be using one.

What I provide

I'll bring dice and provide maps, illustrations, and other visuals for the characters and scenarios in the game.

Gameplay details

All of my games use the "X-Card" system, by which any content can be "edited out" with no explanation needed (giant spiders become giant rats, a dead sibling becomes a sick sibling, clowns become pirates, ect). For each group, I craft basic "group guidelines," including an "Open Door" policy, in which any player can step away at any time, ample breaks, and any gameplay or behavioral guidelines that address the needs of the individuals in the group. This adventure has the opportunity for a combat encounter, but the conflict can be addressed by other means.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created during the course of the session itself and will begin at level 1. I've lead multiple workshops helping young players create D&D characters and will be guiding players through the same process.
