Storytelling > Rules Roleplay > Minmax Fun > Winning This game will include an introduction where we will go through the process of character creation and come to a clear agreement on the type of game experience we want to share. Boundaries will be communicated here and will be monitored in game using physical X, N, & O cards. The Burning Wheel is a very player-centric and character driven game. The Mechanics take a "failing forward" approach to achieving goals in game. This can be challenging for players who are used to trying to "win", but ultimately gives weight to the world and very emotionally rewarding stories.
