About the adventure
The sun is no more in the Northern Ostoyan Empire! 🩸 A court of blood sucking vampires rule the empire with an iron fist. ☠️ What secret's will the grand necropolis reveal? 🔎 Will we ever see our stolen sun again? 👁️ What can an after life be in a land abandoned by gods? Why of all things is a sage asking us to retrieve a phylactery from the mausoleum of all places? Citadel of the Unseen Sun This campaign takes characters through a dark and twisted adventure path of evil and intrigue. Citadel of the Unseen Sun is set in the ever-gloom of the Ostoyan empire; a realm of eternal night where the sun has vanished from the sky and vampires rule the land as nobles with an iron fist and blood-tinged fangs. You have been hired to retrieve an artifact from the mausoleum 'Penumbral Vestibule' to find the Phylactery and return it to the nightseer sage. Etharis is a place where the gods have perished and left the world to its gloom. In their place, Arch Daemons take delight in a world overrun by shadow and decay. Freed from the deities’ power, they relish opportunities to feed their appetites. The Ostoyan Empire East of the Grey Spine peaks lies a land shrouded in mist and shadow. The hearts of Ostoyan folk are as cold and dour as the land they dwell in. The sun no longer rises in Ostoya, allowing an aristocracy of vampires to take power. While the vampire nobles of the crimson court plot to engulf Etharis in a tide of undead, their servants who are still hidden in the City Below wait in the dark, hungry for the living. The sun itself vanished from the sky many years ago in an event called the Darkfall. Darkfall and the Vampires A fearsome earthquake rocked the lands of Ostoya, tearing massive fissures in the ground. Necrotic energy surged from the fissures, darkening the realm and plucking the sun from the sky. These fissures also unearthed ancient, long-buried ruins. Countless Ostoyan explorers ventured into the chasms in search of answers—few returned. That is, until a horde of vampires and their undead minions emerged. These vampires conquered Ostoya and transformed it into their own dark empire, untouched by the light of the sun.

How to prepare
🌺 You will need both a discord and foundry account. 🌸 I will provide our digital dice just out of fairness to make sure no one cheats. 🌺 A microphone is needed but camera is optional. 🌸 Note taking is highly appreciated so a note book or I will create a server chat for it I am a big mysteries fan. 🌺 A pair of headphones to not create an echo for other player. 🌸 Finally a willingness to roleplay and most of all to have fun dammit we are playing d&d.

How will character creation work
🌺 You will be given access to my discord server 🌸 In which we can personally talk about character ideas and how to implement them. 🌺 Backstory will be key in my campaigns however short or long it may be it will be used and implemented. 🌸 In foundry you will have access to all the official D&D books plus the Critical Role books any of these are allowed. 🌺 You can make a character you want to make and have fun with. 🌸 Your character does need to be optimised the adventure is balanced around the party their power. 🌺 We will using point buy over rolling stats. 🌸 Finally play any class you want if you do not have a tank or healer I will balance around
