About the adventure
π WELCOME TO PLANESCAPE π π Enter a world where the line between humanity and divinity blurs. Where existential horror intersects with absurdist comedy. You awaken in a dimly lit morgue, memories of your past life obscured by a fog of uncertainty. As you struggle to piece together your fragmented past, a chilling realization takes hold - you died. You were dead and now somehow you are back among the living. π Unlock the Secrets of Your Demise! π π How did you meet your untimely end? The answer teases the edges of your consciousness, like a haunting, forgotten melody. You remember only fragments of your life, vague images and forgotten dreams. Mixed in with such memories are recollections of other lives, lives of people and places different from your own but no less personal. π² Dive into the official adventure by Wizards of the Coast, a loving tribute to the classic CRPG, Planescape: Torment. You are a recently departed adventurer, your identity obscured by the mists of the afterlife. Your quest is to uncover where you are, how you got here, and, above all, the circumstances of your demise. π Journey to Sigil, the "City of Doors," and Beyond π π Traverse the enigmatic city of Sigil, a crossroads of the multiverse. Venture into otherworldly outlands where a vast, multi-dimensional conspiracy awaits, filled with deception, riddles, and existential quandaries. π Explore a Multiverse of Wonder and Woe π π Roam through the diverse realms of Ysgard, Mount Celestia, and the perilous Nine Hells. Send cryptic messages via Cranium rats and engage in a high-stakes poker game with enigmatic night hags. But remember, the answers you seek may not always align with your desires.
We meet every Monday. The players are level 5 and outside the city in the Outlands at this point. New players are welcome at any time! Please come with three character concepts

How to prepare
You will need a mic and a discord account. You should also be somewhat familiar with the rules and process of character creation. You don't need to know what class or concept you want to play beforehand but a general idea is helpful. I will allow options from all official sourcebooks, subject to my approval. Homebrew options and third party options will not be allowed.
What I provide
β¦ I provide fully realized characters embodied through years of improv training β¦ High quality maps from both official sources as well as from a number of Ennie award winning map makers β¦ I will help you create artwork of your character through AI tools, token tools and/or hero forge β¦ I have a premium membership to Roll20 which allows me to create immersive maps with dynamic lighting β¦ A personally curated playlist of mood music, ambience and sounds β¦ Access to the new Planescape Source book for use in character creation

How will character creation work
Character creation will happen in session 0. You can have a vague idea of what you want your character's backstory to be but understand whatever memories you may have may be unreliable at best or false at worst.
