Lost mines of Phandelver and beyond! Session 0 Free!
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
Welcome! To summarize this campaign let me say it like this: D&D is more than a book, more than a module you need to follow. It's a path that both the players and the DM carve out with their own decisions. This will not be a world that you travel through, it'll be a world that you forge yourself and your decisions will leave a lasting impression on your surroundings and bring new things into the light. An evolving experience based on all your deeds, good or bad. The "first part" of this campaign will include most of "lost mines of phandelver" since it provides a good start especially for newer players. After that, if the group wishes to stay and continue to play together, I have some things planed out, but who knows how you guys will handle stuff and since i don't like to railroad, the story might grow in a way totally unexpected to me but that is fine! Depending on how much experience the party displays, the combat will adjust in difficulty but beware major battles will be hard and if unprepared might end up deadly! We will have a session 0 where we can talk about everything, Character creation, rules of behaving ( i am very open minded but maybe not everyone wants to touch every subject ) etc.
Game style
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
Combat Heavy
“Combat Heavy” games emphasize the combat mechanics within their systems over roleplay or puzzle solving. There are frequent and longer battles with enemies and a greater emphasis on tactical game play.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
After a cinematic battle the group lost the battle against an Ice Dragon and now finds themself in a frozen wasteland, in which they are forced to serve a Frost Giant King... What will your future hold?

A player- and character-oriented approach, that might turn into special traits & feats! All the rule books and adventure-crafting tools we might need! Battle and world maps! A Discord server for voice chat, that also serves as a place to spent free time!
Gameplay details
We will go over safety tools, consent, character creation and how the party will get together in Session 0. The direction of the game will adjust to the enjoyment of the players, meaning if a group loves combat more than rp, more combat might happen and vice versa. The game will shape itself to the things the group enjoys the most! I am always very open to constructive criticism, suggestions or general questions and talking. Feel free to send me a message after the game if you want to talk about anything!

How will character creation work
Characters will be created in D&D Beyond. I prefer to use official content. If you have something what you really want to play from UA or 3rd party i can have a look at it and decide then. We will start at level 1, people can create characters in advance but i will also offer to create them togather! Ability scores can be rolled if the whole party wants and agrees to, otherwise we go by standard array / point buy. (we would roll 4 6-sided dice and keep the highest three)
