About the adventure
Below the clockwork cities of Ritenus lies a protected forest. There, Firbolgs carry ancient stories that have lived as long as their culture. Stories where Giants wandered, leaving footprints that transformed into lakes. Stories where Kings built underwater bridges and spires that sang ethereal melodies in desert winds. Stories where monsters dwelled in deep caverns and where kingdoms of peoples hoarded magic treasures beyond scholarly belief and gods were defeated by mortal hands. But when time broke the sky open, those stories suddenly had a much more dire meaning. The fledgling Chronologists Guild found, of all things, goblin remains surrounded by mysterious, fragrant seeds. The problem? When traced to define their origin, Chronologists found the owners of the skeletons, still breathing, in their homes two continents away, completely unaware that they were supposed to have been killed two million years ago. Are the goblins dead or are they alive? How are they both at the same time? The answer lies beyond the rift... And deeper into time. This is a continuation of a 6-shot D&D campaign that has reached Level 14.

“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.

How to prepare
Discord is our primary communication tool. It will work best downloaded as an app with a good mic either on a phone or computer with strong Wifi connection. A webcam is not required. For dice rolls in live games, I use the honor system if you have dice at home, but I do have tutorials on how to roll dice in Discord. In Session Zero, I will also give a tutorial on how to do play-by-post roleplay on the Discord server. Dice rolls will need to be done in-server for all play-by-post gaming.
What I provide
Downtime activities between sessions! Play-by-post via Discord so your characters can explore the world further, participate in item creation, strengthen character bonds, and experiment with crafting and cooking new one-shot materials. Virtual escape rooms to earn Guild memberships and special items.
Gameplay details
The adventure is open world, so players can explore any part of it. Consent is a major part of our gameplay style, so not only will I check in about upcoming dangers or expected consequences, but I also expect players to communicate out-of-character in how they want to interact with one another in-character. Any behavior that prevents other players from feeling safe and comfortable will not be tolerated.

How will character creation work
For those who like to create characters in advance, I have Dndbeyond resource links with official WotC 5th Edition content, but allow a wide range of Unearthed Arcana and unofficial content on a case-by-case basis.
