Hello and welcome to the Lost Mine of Phandelver, a beginner friendly Dungeons & Dragons 5e game! Dive into a story that greets the party with combat and intrigue in equal parts!

How to prepare
You will need a microphone to allow for voice communication during the game. You will need a D&D Beyond account and a Discord account to build your character and participate in the game, respectively. You may come with a character if you so wish, but general character creation will happen during Session 0. Please bring your own dice (physical or virtual, either one is fine by me).
What I provide
I am bringing the game module, Lost Mines of Phandelver, as well as art for the locations and characters.
Gameplay details
Players can expect the modern form of Dungeons and Dragons, with combat and roleplay working together to help forge the storyline. I use Session 0 to help describe the premise of the world, as well as how the safety tools will be used during the game. Also, character-building (or character naming, if you want to go with a pre-made character) occurs during Session 0.

How will character creation work
Character creation (or character choosing and naming) will happen during Session 0. If you wish, you can bring a lvl-1 character, just know we are working with the race and class choices from the Player's Handbook.
