About the adventure

This land has been largely divided ever since anyone could remember. Memories of a better time are almost nonexistent, any hints to what may have existed before are hidden within an ancient ruined city far too dangerous to traverse. Small pockets of civilization exist on the fringes of the mainland or isolated islands in what seems to be relative safety. Leaving the confines of your home or territory means certain death, and even the few stragglers who live deep within the forest must tread carefully to avoid their doom. The land is precarious, filled with bloodthirsty beasts, unsettling strangers with ill intent, and ancient entities. No one truly lives in Dac'de, they only survive. Something dark rules this land, a story passed through generations tells of an old and terrible god that gorged itself on the inhabitants of a once great city in the heart of a once great city. They say it dug deep into the earth, sickening it, spewing vitriol before sinking back into the depths of the land and has not been seen since. For the first time in known history, warriors, spell casters and scholars are being sent into the wilds on an expedition.

About me

I'm a storyteller first and foremost, I've been writing since I was a child. Many years later I discovered how much I enjoyed sharing stories and creating them with others! I love world building and the process of meaningfully tying characters to the worlds I've created. I put a heavy focus on the character arcs of all my player's characters and their development. Most of my games are set in a homebrew world that has been heavily fleshed out but still allows for much more growth. I've only been a GM for a year now, but a once passive hobby has now entirely engulfed my life in the best way possible. I hope to create a safe environment for other queer players, as well as POC, disabled and neurodivergent individuals to comfortably engage in my games, but also to see themselves represented within the world I've created! Don't be afraid to join if you don't fall under some or any of those categories, but know that homophobia, racism, misogyny and ableism will not be tolerated.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will start at a total of 12 levels. I work closely with players on characters, I do not recommend bringing a pre-made character into this game. Session zero will be used to explain the setting in more detail and discuss potential character ideas. Your character has been picked by their clan to fulfill an important role, to hopefully, discover the source of some of the current troubles... Consider in the meantime what has motivated your character to build their skills, and how they got to the level of power they now have. Consider the following themes in relation to your character as well: what does the burden of responsibility mean to them, and how do they bare it? Is it a source of pride or pain? Please note, you're playing in a homebrew world, when are approved to join, you will be given a link to the discord where more lore can be found, including any race restrictions.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

A mic will be needed and I highly recommend having a webcam, as well as access to zoom. Have characters made by session 1 and make sure you've read through the lore about your specific setting in the discord. Also have a method of rolling dice, physical or digital is fine.

What Tucker P. brings to the table

I have maps to share with the players. I have access to most dnd source books, so feel free to ask if you're in need of resources or specific information.

How Tucker P. creates a safe table

The most important thing I wanted to be noted is that every content warning will be discussed in session zero, as dark themes will be present in this campaign due to its horror setting. We will be discussing hard lines for players and check-ins throughout the campaign will be done regularly.
