The dead keep piling higher as monsters stalk the land, feeding on peasants. You're traveling through this meat grinder where many will pay good coin to a monster hunter. This is not your dragon fantasy game! Heroes are eaten by dragons and there is no happily ever after. Can you survive this harsh world? Can you thrive?

How to prepare
Before playing, you will need: ✔ A character (I can work with you to create a custom character) ✔ Mic ✔ Discord account (free) ✔ Roll20 account (free) ✔ Webcam is a plus When playing, you do not need: ❌ The book (I will provide resources for you) ❌ to Know the Rules (I can teach you)

Gameplay details
The campaign will begin with a session zero where we will introduce ourselves and then talk about safety tools, player preferences, my GM style, the campaign setting, and introduce characters. Anytime a player joins after session zero, I will discuss safety tools, my GM style, and campaign setting with them one-on-one. Then we will do introductions, lines & veils, and character introductions as a group during the new player's first session. The campaign will consist of some adventures from A Book of Tales, combined with homebrew adventures, and player driven quests. We will start in the far North and travel South as the campaign progresses.

How will character creation work
Character creation will take place in my Discord server (link is in Prep Material after you sign up). Please come with an idea of the type of character you would like to play. Do you want to be big & strong? Smart & educated? Clever & Fast? All you need is a general idea and I can guide you or offer a premade character that fits. For character creation you may: ✅ Make your own character from scratch ✅ Work with me to create an original character ✅ Select a pre-generated character NOTE: If for any reason we cannot setup a character for you by game time then you will need to use either a pre-gen character or a NPC temporarily. In order to avoid this please sign up at least 24 hours before a session so that we have time to get your character setup.
