    About the adventure

“ 'This is all what you have to do, you walk along the Streets at Night, shouting, It’s Twelve O’clock and All’s Well'. I said, 'What if it is not all well?', and he said, 'You bloody well find another street'. " - Carrot Ironfounderson, quoting Sgt. Fred Colon Tonight is a tough night for the citizens of Ankh-Morpork, but that means it'll be a great night for you. Some of the worst lowlives that The Shades has to offer are getting ready to make their mark on the twin cities and live easy for the rest of their days. But with a rapidly strengthening City Watch, merciless guilds, and the unblinking gaze of the Patrician, things are never as easy as they sound. Join up for a Blades in the Dark campaign set in the Discworld, atop the back of A'tuin, deep in the shady underbelly of Ankh-Morork. Together our group of ne'er-do-wells comprised of Assassins, Beggars, Corrupt Coppers, the odd Unseen University delinquent, and more will make their mark on this city come hell or high water. And you should really hope for the former because the high water off the River Ankh comes in with switchblade and a says "you gon'na say somethin' tough guy?". -- Flavor text aside, is a Blades in the Dark game with just a few tweaks to get that bizarre city to feel real. The game won't be grim dark in tone, and even the serious bits will likely have gallows humor thrown in here and there. This is a great game to join if you are a fan of the Discworld novles, curious about trying BitD but unsure where to start, or if you're just looking for a good time with some good laughs. All experience levels welcome and beginners are encouraged to join! Interested in joining but haven't read anything since Jr. High? Don't sweat it, sign up anyway and you'll be calling the discworld home in no time!

    Additional Details

    How to prepare

Show up ready to have fun. Look over the character sheets, let me know if you have any questions or if there's anything you want me to be aware of from the get-go. I'll be using camera and microphone, and while video isn't necessary a working microphone is required.

    What I provide

I'll supply any necessary PDFs, "in our last episode" recaps between each session, and enough enthusiasm to drown an hippo.

    Gameplay details

Before session 0 everyone will be sent a blank consent checklist form, and once I get them I'll post an anonynmous list as a set of general guidelines. I'm available before session zero if you have questions about making a character, the setting, or the game in general. In the session 0, we'll go over the safety tools, expectations, finish and introduce our characters, and decide on the starting base. If we have time then we'll get an intro scene for everyone to set the stage. For the audio and video aspect we'll use discord, and we'll have a roll20 game already set up and waiting for everyone when we start.
