    This is an Original & Detailed Module which takes place in a world where "Classes" are rarely obtained, and where the vast majority of the world is hostile and unexplored. Dare you tread in such a land, and inspire hope in the hearts of men and mer? The rare & coveted blessings of "Class" bestow immense power & burden upon a chosen few in each generation. Warriors, mages, hunters, & thieves, they are the potential beacons of salvation, the heralded Heroes destined to rise against the encroaching darkness or become entangled in its malevolent grasp. Behold, as your journey commences in the sprawling expanse of the Civilized lands, a Peninsula veiled from the endless perils & treacherous dooms of the world, protected by the three great barriers. The Mountains of Strangle Thorn, eternal & stalwart, tower like jagged sentinels, testing the will of all who dare to challenge their impassable heights. Among the gnarled sentries of the Fanghorn Forests, a mystic wood both ancient & wise, whispers echo through the age-old trees, bearing both secrets & warnings. And shrouded within the Ivory Mists of the Ellaron Veil lies a lost realm, enchanting & enigmatic, beckoning those who seek revelations within the endless miring mists of that Elf-Cursed land. Beyond them lies the final realms of men & mer, where civilizations teeter blindly on the brink of oblivion. Such blessings, obtained by scarce means, arise from the dying breaths of benevolent souls already carrying the gift, or from trials insurmountable by ordinary mortals, or even from the chilling embrace of the very darkness that seeks to end your world. When this Adventure begins, you are a stalwart member of the Holy Legion of Light, an indomitable force commanded by the awe-inspiring King Crane, the mightiest classed among humankind. The Legion's purpose, steadfast & unwavering, is to traverse the kingdoms of man, a resolute scourge upon the Foul kin that fester within the world's recesses. The horde of Orcs, goblins, & Dragonborn, among other evil races, perpetrate their malevolence against the very foundations of the three prime civilizations, & it is your charge to purge their existence from the realm.     How to prepare

    You will need a Mic, and a Discord account. You will also need to install the Free Demo Version of Fantasy Ground Unity. Some knowledge of Dnd 5th Edition is recommended by not required. Bring something to drink, some snacks, and a nice active brain. You may need all three!

    What I provide

    I will bring my Fantasy Ground Unity Ultimate License, which will enable anyone to play with me for free, using all my books and material, on the Fantasy Ground Unity platform. I will also have a specialized Discord Server ready for my players. Through these platforms, I will be able to share maps, illustrations and visuals, as well as speak with you and facilitate the game. I have a hefty library of Source Books and Tertiary Content for you to enjoy once you join the game. So in short, I provide; *Detailed Game Maps *A Fully Original, Fully Engaged Role Playing Adventure Experience *Several Mainline and Subplots full of mystery, danger, and interesting Friends and Foes. *Dedication to your Personal Backstory and Subplots, which will work their way into the main story over time. *My Limited Talents as a Voice Actor. *My 12+ Years of Satisfyingly Role Playing and Game Mastering Experience.

    Hello, and welcome! You will need- 1. A Discord Account 2. To Download the Fantasy Ground Unity application (the FREE Demo Version) 3. A Desire to Play Dungeons & Dragon's 5e Hey, I'm a Fan With Too Much Time (Fan for short), Welcome to this Original Game Module, set within an Original World! You are entering a realm where you can change the world of Civilization, unravel the mysteries which surround you, and explore the vast unknown which abounds in all directions. We will discuss lore questions, gameplay questions and concerns, as well as behavioral expectations and more within Session 0, but I will cover some basics with you here. Level and Character Creation All characters in this Campaign begin at Level 1. Traditionally, due to the world of this Campaign, you can most easily play as some variety of Human, Hobbit, Dwarf, Gnome, or Elf. However, speak to me about special exceptions that can be made to play any of the other "Unknown" Races, Foul Kin Races, or a Character Import. It is possible for you to Import a character with a history in another world, Such as the Forgotten Realms or Eberron. Speak with me about how to facilitate this, but remember, no matter who you import, your character sheet will be made fresh in Fantasy Grounds Unity, and you will be level 1. Roleplaying In this game, you will find that Role Playing is put front and center, with Stats taking a close, but notable, second place to it. We are here to tell stories, YOUR stories, and for that, you must be involved as much as your character concept dictates. Speaking in character is expected, Paraphrasing is allowed only for reiterations and time saving, but most notable dialogue will be happening in character. Combat That, however, is not to say that Combat will not be involved, it will, and heavily so! Beginning as you are, within the Legion of Light, combat or combat support of one kind or another is expected. You may not stay in the Legion for very long, but you will be made to fight often none the less. Combat will be handled on the Fantasy Grounds Unity (FGU) platform, and will often be accompanied by maps and visual aids. Puzzles and Solutions There will be some puzzles and challenges present, both social, mechanical, and magical, so bring your thinking caps and prepare yourself to challenged, at least somewhat, in realms which involve more than merely rolling dice. Sometimes checks and rolls can be avoided entirely by simply thinking the challenge through or through compelling roleplay. Skill Level This game is great for Veterans and Beginners alike. I will walk you through each thing you need to understand, from basic game rules, to the uses and functions of Fantasy Grounds. All questions are welcomed, and I am eager to help teach and to learn more with each game I play. Class and the Meaning of Class In this world, individuals with classes, such as all manner of fighters, Sorcerers, Bards, Rangers, ect, are extremely rare, and are considered very very powerful. A classed can sleep off injuries which would leave men crippled for months. A classed can invoke super-human powers which enable them to challenge the naturally powerful Foul Kin. A classed person can live twice or more the life span of their own natural race. In this world a single Orc warrior can kill 12 human warriors before being struck down. In this world, the classed are often all that stand in the way between the lands of innocent men and women, and the abominations and monsters which control the world around them. How to Gain a Class Important for Character Creation, Classes can be gained in 3 primary ways. Firstly, when a classed person is dying and about to pass on, they can pass on their class as they die onto another. This new person then gains the class (but not the subclass or levels)of the dying man or woman. Secondly, there are specific, harrowing, and often life ending trials which a character can inadvertently suffer through, which will grant them class, and if they died, a new chance at life. And lastly, there is a deep evil within the world, ruled by an entity known as The Dark One. This being can gift classed powers to mortals whom it believes will help destroy the worlds of men and mer...from within. None of this applies to imported characters.     How will character creation work

    All characters will Begin the Game at Level One, no Exceptions. All characters will be created within Fantasy Grounds Unity, no Exceptions. All characters will have their ability scores generated by the Point Buy System, no Exceptions. All character Backstories must be discussed and approved by me ahead of playing the Character. This will largely be done at Session 0.
