About the adventure

Join a group of fellow historians or protect them as hired muscle as you explore the secret origins of all life on Azeroth. However, before those mysteries can be solved your Gnomish allies need help in reclaiming their former capital from a demented traitor & his irradiated minions. or... Find yourself Raised as an Undead or as an ally to them. You assist these Forsaken Souls in solidifying their hold over their once living home as they struggle to find their place in a world that hates and despises them. At war both with the Zealous Paladins of the Scarlet Crusade, & the hostile Undead of the Scourge, these Free Willed Forsaken have a lot of work to do before they can call the Tirisfal Glades home. These are just 2 of the many paths your characters can take in your Journey across Azeroth & Beyond. You are the master of your own destiny, & your characters are not stuck repeating pre-existing tales. The Liberation of Gnomregan & the purging of the Scarlet Monastery are but 2 of many paths your party can take. In our Session Zero I intend to sit everyone down, figure out what unifies the group & what direction the players as a whole feel excited about. Whatever we as a group feel fits best, that's the direction we run in. The game will be a mix of RP & Combat, with a fairly lighthearted tone though there are some darker elements to the setting. Please do bring up any and all concerns in the session zero so we can ensure EVERYONE at the table enjoys the experience. The game will be broken up into 5-6 weekly sessions. While I'm happy to continue the story of characters across multiple arcs, I'm breaking the scenarios/dungeons into these specific blocks to allow people to jump in and out as they need & to not over commit to a LONG campaign where you miss one session & your lost.

How to prepare

Players will need to ensure their system can run Foundry VTT. Some laptops have had issue as the browser based VTT is very graphics intensive & many laptops default to their secondary graphics card when using a browser based VTT. Players will need to have an existing Foundry VTT account set up to access the game. A clear Microphone to hear the player & Earphones so we don't have Echoing with the other Players is essential. When Characters & Classes have been decided upon, the player needs to familiarize themselves with the specific options their character has available to them, & inform the GM of any confusion or questions before a game session. Once the character choices have been made, either the Player or myself can create artwork for the character.

What I provide

I will be providing the hosting for the game, all sheets, digital dice & assets for the game including background music & maps will be run through the Foundry VTT. Premade Characters will also be provided if the player has zero experience in Character Creation.

Gameplay details

As well as Story, Character & faction choices, Session Zero will involve discussing Hard Lines & Veils, what is to be avoided & what the expectations are for the game. The X card is an option in the Foundry VTT that is anonymous & to be used if a scene is causing discomfort. Every session will also end with a Debriefing where we discuss any issues that arose & how to fix them for future sessions, & also what everyone liked & what they hope to have happen in the next session.

How will character creation work

Depending on the group discussion in Session Zero, the characters may begin at anything from level 1 to 7. This is entirely dependent on the choices made by the group as a whole. The Characters will be built in Foundry VTT using the 3.0 Versions of the Warcraft Heroes homebrew for 5e. All players will be provided with links before the session to familiarize themselves with their options.
