About the adventure
Steal a starship and escape the clutches of Teemo the Hutt in this exciting introductory adventure for the Star Wars Edge of the Empire game! On the desert world of Tatooine the small spaceport of Mos Shuuta sits atop a tall, rocky bluff surrounded by the Dune Sea. You struggle to escape the servants of the city's ruler, Teemo the Hutt, who has a sizable bounty on your head! Trapped in the small city, you must steal a starship to flee Teemo's forces. Fortunately, a suitable ship has recently docked at the landing bay; a YT-1300 freighter called the Krayt Fang, captained by a Trandoshan slaver. Fleeing through the suns-baked streets, you duck into the local cantina to hide from your pursuers...

How to prepare
Players will not need to know any of the rules to begin and characters are already created for you. We will use Discord for video & audio communication. Video is advisable, but optional. The virtual tabletop we'll use for this is Foundry VTT on the Forge website. Foundry facilitates the absolute best experience for any Star Wars Fantasy Flight Games adventure. You can create a free account at forge-vtt.com Players will also need to have a stable internet connection, microphone/speakers or headset, and limited outside distractions. A video camera is advisable, but optional.

Gameplay details
"Escape from Mos Shuuta" is the adventure published for the Edge of the Empire Beginner Box released by Fantasy Flight Games in 2012. It is a fast paced, rules light system that uses a unique narrative style dice mechanic that captures the feel of the original Star Wars films. Players are taught the rules of the system and the VTT interface as they play through the adventure. A perfect introduction for new players and one that is still engaging and exciting for veteran players. This adventure features situations commonly found in Star Wars movies and stories. Blaster battles, negotiations, chases, and starship battles are all found in this adventure. There will be no content involving drug addiction, sexual themes, gratuitous violence or gore. Safety and inclusion for all players is of the utmost importance. Our safety tools include the Lines & Veils, "X" card, Open Door, & Breaks. These tools will briefly be discussed at the beginning of our session. If there are additional safety tools you'd like to incorporate let me know, I'm happy to accommodate.

How will character creation work
This adventure includes a choice of 6 pre-generated characters so players can jump right into the action: -Pash, a human smuggler. -Lowhhrick, a melee fighting wookie. -41-VEX, a protocol droid medic/mechanic. -Oskara, a twi'lek bounty hunter. -Sasha, a human explorer. -Mathus, a human technician.
