About me
I'm a theatre of the mind DM of over 10 years with experience in DnD 3.5, 4, and 5th Editions. I also run FFG Star Wars! I strive to make sure player Safety and comfort are at the forefront of every game, with the Rule of Cool being one of my favorite ways to DM. My games are very newbie friendly and I tend to focus on roleplay and narrative with character arcs and character driven stories. That said, I will work to accommodate any and all player types, so long as you don't make anyone at the table uncomfortable or anything like that. My ultimate goal is to help you and the rest of the table have fun creating a story with and for each other!

Creating your character
We will work thru character creation as a group during and after session 0 so that each player has the time and attention they need in order to craft the character they *want* to play as well as *learn* the system's creation. If they so choose, premade character archetypes
Session 0 will last approximately 3 hours as we discuss and go over the rules together, go through Character Creation one step at a time, and discuss safety tools that work best for us as a table. Session 0 will be on May 5th with our scheduled Session 1 to be on May 20th at 11am EST. This break between session 0 and Session 1 is intended to give players a chance to ask further questions either in the group chat or directly to me in *absolute* confidence.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A Mic is required, a webcam is encouraged. Multiple dice (d4-d12, roughly six of each to be safe!) are also encouraged, but not a requirement. Please have the provided PDF Open during sessions :)
What Taldoz brings to the table
I will be providing a copy of the rulebook via PDF that is for the players to keep and use at their leisure! To support the team who made the system, I'll be buying whole new PDFs for each player. I will also be providing a Discord Server for players to chat and get the feel of what kind of characters they want to play as well as to assist with scheduling the sessions and ease of communication! As the system uses a dice pool system, players can either bring their own dice (d4 thru d12!) or we can use Roll20 or any Virtual Dice Application of their choosing. I'm big on the honor system and trusting my players to not fudge rolls just as they trust me to ensure their comfort and safety at the table

How Taldoz creates a safe table
Expect a slower paced game as we learn the rules and explore the system together! Lines and veils/consent checklist will be provided prior to Session 0, players are not *required* but are highly encouraged to bring a red, yellow, and green item should they want to use their camera while playing! Said items will be used to mark as a "Red- Full Stop", "Yellow - Caution", and "Green - More! :D" during play. The items can be shown at any time, and there will be no questions or judgement. After each session, we will have a decompressing time for us to give shout outs to each player and something we enjoyed that they did, as well as moments to express our own vulnerabilities about our own decisions and play styles for the evening. In the event of a Red Card, I will *immediately* call for a five to ten minute break so that everyone can take a stretch and whomever is affected can have a moment to do whatever they need in order to be comfortable.
