About the adventure
Invastion of the Far Realms is an original 5e adventure set in the Forgotten Realms. Perfect for players of all experience who desire a change of pace from the usual high fantasy villains, and instead would like to face down Eldritch Horrors and creatures from the outer planes of existence. Ethan is hands down one of the best DMs I've had the privilege of playing with. The story he's crafted has been incredibly compelling with enough levity to keep the mood from turning too bleak. Battles are tough, and the victories all the sweeter for it. He encourages a great deal of roleplay I cannot recommend him enough for players both old and new.

Had so much fun playing. Ethan is amazing DM, he tells a great story so you feel like you are right there. Great role play sessions. Amazing interaction with both NPCs and the adventuring party. Great fun playing with everyone in the party. Such a great group. Love all of the characters/players in our session. Ethan's combat scenes are so descriptive it gives you the feel that your character and all the other characters in your group are in the fight scene - you can actually feel what your character is feeling in the battles. Just an amazing time. Ethan also takes a lot of time to incorporate all character backstories so well that it makes you feel like you are really a part of the world. Oh my gosh, this DMs ability to tie in character backstories into the module is phenomenal and Ethan makes a point to make sure everyone is included. If the party separates no one is forgotten. Everyone gets their moment and Ethan managed to pull together an amazing group for this game that this is hands down the highlight of my week. I hope to join next campaigns he has coming up!

How to prepare
Discord is necessary, as all sessions will take place on voice/video call. As such, a microphone/headset will be necessary, and a webcam of some sort is preferred. A D&D beyond account is also necessary, though YOU DO NOT NEED TO SPEND ANY MONEY as I will provide all of the resources for the group. Just be ready to join my campaign and make characters on this. I am content with those two things alone, and "theatre of the mind" style sessions. If you would like maps and character tokens for each scene, then every member will also need Roll20 If you like physical dice/character sheets, then you are more than welcome to bring/use them. If you don't, then using D&D Beyond or Roll20 to roll and keep track of stats is perfectly fine as well

Gameplay details
Players can expect detailed roleplay scenarios, engaging combat situations, and a safe environment to collectively create awesome stories together. The beginning of the first session will be used as a "session 0" in order to discuss what we need to avoid in our cooperative storytelling. I DO NOT STAND FOR BULLYING OF ANY KIND AT MY TABLE. How will character creation work
Characters will start at level 3 and be 5e characters with backstories set in the Forgotten Realms But fear not! I always like to start with character creation together so that we are on the same page and can work with backstories together. Alternatively, if you are new I do come prepared with premade characters to choose from. However, if you are experienced and wish to make a character beforehand, by all means!
